-Jin also has the attack which side taunt is supposed to be, if i add that one i think thatll break him cause itll give him incredible range, but ill possibly think about it but add it to be executed differently possibly remove another one of his taunts
-Forward smash always connects, whats the problem?

Just to make sure are you using him in brawl+? if not maybe someone can help me make a version for regular brawl
No I don't play + but you just need to fix the angle, or make it a super weak meteor with static kb. aside from that, just the stuff i said in my last post. dtilt, ice car, frostbite

Keep making characters but there's no way blazbrawl will have any lasting appeal when the real game is available


The real game isn't available to all of us =___=

*Can't afford a 360 or a PS3*

Also you could say B+ is a fun side project but when the real game is available it won't have the same appeal.

They were making an altered version of the game that they (and many other people) would enjoy more.

We're making an altered version of Brawl where I (and hopefully many others) would personally enjoy it more if I could main Noel or Rachel.


I also completely agree with Ryko and TsuKiyoMe.

That somewhat helps my cause. The purpose of Litchi is to have powerful long range pokes. Her combos are length but only dish out medium amounts of damage. Their real purpose is to push you towards the corner of the screen where her pressure is strongest and she can set up corner traps. This is done by deploying the staff and positioning it in a way that punishes teching. That staff can be set by pressing D. You can recall it pressing D. You can delay the return by pressing D and holding it (which delays it for up to 4 seconds)

I'm personally having trouble creating a believable staff with ZSS. Everything I've attempted at the moment has caused the game to crash when it wouldn't do so for other characters. I just think this character hates me :p
The solution would be to just generate a pillar of lightning for all moves involving the staff at the moment as this is the only thing that works that I've found. That's why I'm asking for others input.

If you're using the pillar of lightning I'm thinking about, 44, it won't work =/ Can't be angled or resized, it has ridiculous limitations.

I would totally make Hazama if he was playable

You don't have to tell me about limitations. I couldn't even loop it to make it a staff to hold. Not being able to angle it is news to me. This marks I think the 5th idea to be implemented nixed lol. At this point Ryko and I were joking around saying we should just call her "Staffless Litchi." Cause seriously everything can be made cept the staff atm.

That sounds pretty awesome to be honest. If you can find out for me or find someone who can teach me, I'm game. I find PSA to be somewhat limited anyways.

Apparently that was how PhoenixWings edited the behavior of Phoenix Mario's fireball. Personally, I don't know anyone who does those things.

Grounded Neutral B summons a Sticky Bomb. It's a super laggy move but there is a secret awesome technique that reduces this lag.

as far as I know I made it a tad stronger from the beta and didn't touch it afterwards

so yeah o.O

it might add hitstun, if i added bkb.

it worked on Luigi, Toon Link, and Fox (the characters my opponent uses) He DI'd in all directions and i just followed under w/ Uairs.

Fox got it the worst. I was able to Grab > Uthrow > Uair > Uair > Uair > Grab > Uair > Uair > Uair > Grab > Dthrow > Ftilt > Uair > Uair > etc. albeit difficult to do, it does work.

i don't think it's something that should be changed tho. the Uairs do about 4% each and she only has 2 moves that kill before or around 100%. Anyone that can chain enough Uairs for it to matter deserves it IMO.

I also noticed Peach sometimes pulls a banana. that's awesome. But about the sticky bomb, (even though i love it) It's REALLY broken. Even tho it can kill Peach as early as 58% on most stages, (did you guys make her lighter?), It's really insane when coupled with her running speed, Float/ Recovery tactics, and the lag reduction trick (which i can do perfectly)

So idk.. just posting some things i observed. I really like this project tho and you guys are amazing for doing it.

Yes I made Rachel really light, PSA is NOT flexible with weight at ALL though, making me angrys.

I might make the lag reduction thing a bit slower, though this will completely kill aerial neutral b I would think. =/ Or it would be another recovery move, or a counter moves that lasts too long... OH WELL

I think grounded neutral b is slow enough... since most people would just use the lag reduction. I MIGHT MAKE IT SLOWER ANYWAY

BTW Fox+ is usually combo'd heavily. I don't think this is fair because Fox is just not that good in Brawl+ right now >.> though he is pretty fast.

Rachel should control the match, but die if she can't control the match. (Unlike vBrawl Snake)

-Make Neutral B slower... possibly give it a weak hitbox that doesn't do anything except try to deter the opponent?
probably add more GFX ha
-Make Side B make more sense

I have to admit I don't like this update.

Side B is completely pointless. Using it in the air makes no sense at all. It kills her recovery, has no hitbox and makes her unable to use her up B.

On the ground, no hitbox and it won't even cancel into anything. Plus the distance is completely pointless. I liked her last side B. It was cool.

Neutral B does too much dmg. I dropped 2 on the ground and peach got 53% just by getting hit by it. It's a good kill move I guess but it seems too easy to kill with. It's like a Snake bomb on your face except you can do it whenever you want, and it does more dmg.

Her fair is impossible to hit with and I have no idea where it's range is. You can hit with it but I feel anyone could block it and the damage sucks for all the trouble to hit with it. Give it an animation that shows us where the hitbox is. Ryko can help you.. he made an edit on the pac for the last patch.

I like her bair.

I like her dair, though it should go a little farther down in the air, and make the attack last the entire flight down. At the end it kind of stops, right before you hit the ground or stop falling in the air.

I think her Up B should have good range and should be a kill move, since she needs one and it would be awesome.

Grabs are fine, though I noticed running and grabbing is hard because of her run + wind effect. Make her grabs do more dmg and more combo-tastic.

All of these were what I was going to say but didnt play plus so I couldnt tell if it was a version flaw. As it stands side B is completely worthless. Her side B should allow for an action if you drop the umbrella float that isnt side B. It could use a windbox to boot. The dair's hitbox should exist on the entire wind graphic on the way down. Nair is fairly worthless. Giving some of her windboxes reflector properties wouldnt hurt either. Ftilt got fixed so I like it. If you want the file with the fair graphic etc just IM me.

^ Yeah, the Fair was pretty weird. and the nair was just useless.

However, running grab was never really a problem for me. In fact, Dash Dance grab was a huge part of my game play. Extending the hit box on the Dair would be amazing. But think about what that would do to the Dair while she remains in float. i was already spacing with the large hit box in Float > Dair. If the hit box lasted til the end, that would leave a VERY small window of opportunity for your opponent to punish. It might be too much of a buff. But i guess there's no harm in trying it.

A larger hit box on Fair would be Nice. the only use i could find for it was Uair > Fair. that's like.. 9 damage? and the knock back was really inconvienient. too much to combo from, but no where near strong enough to kill with. (til like 170)

Dsmash is Perfect

Usmash is fun. you can even guard the ledge because the hit box starts below the stage.

i have mixed feelings about the forward B. if i don't hit the A button in time, it's usually an SD. why does peach go into helpless fall state from that? also, it glitched in a match and teleported me once. i'll remember to record that next time -_-. the Foward > B to Dair recovery is amazing, in fact.. it's REALLY safe. maybe too safe. The forward B from the demo vid was like.. perfect.

It's supposed to really be an airdash type thing... I really need to get it to be used only once per time in the air or after you get hit. I guess it has to deal with setting Bits and i absolutely loathe Bit type stuff because I don't understand them at all

working on her down air makes me angry. it's pretty fine the way it is IMO (absolutely no land lag, too abusable with float)


nair will eventually be changed, it's supposed to be useless right nowww

up b as a kill move is a cool idea ^o^

i'll get to it eventually

^ If you can make it something like Lucario's Up+B in Brawl+ , that's be cool. He can only do the Up+B once, but he still has full access to his other moves after.

i really dont find it logical to be able to charge ice car without it becoming broken, and like i said before, jin isnt able to charge this attack in blazblue anyway, i could possibly make it so that he does another attack after ice car depending on button input

That'll work, like no button equals the whole normal jump thing, A button equals a normal attack after pressing but no jump so it just pulls enemies in and sends them flying, and the jump button freezes the enemy and hits them again with his sword which freezes them again which happens after a hit stun >w< Its gotta work

What happened to Jin's Jab1 remixed to DB3? I keep doing Jab1 canceled into Frost Bite, unless it's suppose to do that lol....

i havent removed it, its still there :confused:

i just tested it and it work fine unless u double tap B

ill take advantage of this moment and post the link for the Jin fix i promised, this version fixes the problems with his broken fair and some others i cant remember

and yes im aware that the final smash is weird, i havent been able to fix the gfx, its supposed to be a blizzard, that is what i decided would be a great final smash for jin
