I hate procrastinating. I've done it too much this semester and it's cost me alot of spare time and stress. I've been able to finish my papers and study but I always tend to wait till that stimulus inside me states, "Alright it's time to get this done or else."

I think I've pinpointed the procrastination and it's being at home. At home there are too many distractions (Internet, phone, television, family, friends, video games, sleep and more.) When I study or do a project the minute I get a writer's block or get a mental weakness I easily turn to these other tasks and stay on them for too long.

To get by this I've gotta do all my studying and work in the library at school. I'm always able to focus effectively there and get alot done because none of these distractions are on my plate. It's just the work and that's it because all that's in front of me is a desk and books.. If I have to use a computer in a lab I won't trail off when using it at school because it's suppose to be used for work and many times students are waiting for computers so I don't want to be rude or inappropriate.

Next semester I'm gonna go to clases and then spend a good 3-4 hours a day in the library alone doing work; that way when I come home there will be nothing to do and I can relax because the pressure is off to fight distractions. Distractions lead to procrastination. Hope to stick to the plan.

jolly old england. hohoho.
I'm currently procrastinating writing a paper about how House, M.D. follows the conventions of detective fiction, and how it deviates. My title?

House, P.I.
Ha, that's quite an interesting way of looking at it.

Sherlock holmes was written by a doctor so I guess it makes full circle :).

Hmm... I've got an idea.
For all you procrastinators out there.
When you need to do something in a timely manner, don't think of it as not procrastinating for once. Instead, think of it as procrastinating on your procrastination. That may make it easier for you. xD

Procrastination never really does me good. Last year, I had a huge end of semester English project where you had to get a Novel, Short story, and Poem of the same genre and write an 2 page essay on each of them. It took me 2 days before the project to actually FIND the books. Since it was rushed, I ended up getting 14/60. (each essay was worth 20 marks. Luckily I didn't fail the course. >_>)

I was going to post something about procrastination here, but I think I'll just do it tomorrow.

I once had to write a 10 page paper on Martin Luther King Jr. I was given one full weak to do it. Not that hard of an assignment, and yet I ended procrastinating to the last hours that I had to do it. I was up until 2:00a.m finishing it.

Not as bad as you, Proverbs, but I can still feel your self-inflicted pain.

I'm dancing in my seat to some crunkcore and on facebook when I really should be studying and doing the little homework that I have.

But this is fun. I took a nap today, so I'm fine~

Microeconomic Analysis final in just over 6 hours.

If I study and don't sleep, I'll fail. If I sleep and don't study, I'll fail.

yay time management

About 10 years ago in college I had to do a report on the American court system from a prosecutors point of view (law school sucks!). And I waited till 2 days before it was due and had to stay up 28 hours straight before collapsing. I finished it though and graduated (Thank God, because if I had gone to school for 3 years and failed I might've shot myself.)
