Does anyone know if the alleged leaked pictures are supposed to be from the Japanese version? If they are, then the names of some of the roster's characters don't match the names from the official site(s).

Ken, the King of Smash, has known about most of the roster for quite a while. He's been keeping it under wraps for good reason, I suppose. I didn't make a huge note about it until now.

I inferenced that he has had connections---there's no way someone could figure all that out on their own.

I can't even say where the information is fostered, exactly. Heed my words, what I say is the truth---at least as I understand it. This was the part that was new to me, and I then added 2 and 2 together---well, you get the picture.

Admittedly, there's the slim chance that this collective string of knowledge isn't the whole piece. There could be more... which would be good for us. But it's very unlikely.

There's a chance that the current leak (which wasn't the source of my sudden despair) has been forged to reflect the current string of knowledge, rather than being the entirety.

This slim possibility relies on the idea that not all playtesters have reported on their findings, and that maybe, just maybe, there are more playtesters who have different builds of the game that we are unaware of. And maybe, from these other playtesters, there are more characters in the game.

That is all I can say. I'm sorry if I sound vague in some areas. I keep my promises close.

That said, I don't think I will return unless... something happens. Or, the game is released, and all is said and done.

This has been a great ride, guys. I enjoyed my experience speculating with all of you.

Could I ask you one last question possibly? I'm just wondering if there is any relevancey between this new leak and the information you have learned?

Fair enough, I really think there will be a Star Fox reveal trailer soon, all the evidence really points to it, (4chan is untrustworthy, this is Gematsu all over again)

Yeah your right. This does remind me of Gematsu all over again. Also the leaked pictures have way too many discrepancies to be passed off as real imo.

Agreed Sakurai is definitely hiding something regarding Star Fox because they're keeping Fox's custom move options a mystery and not much information has been revealed for the new Star Fox stage. I smell something fishy and its not Sakurai's sushi.

We really don't know if this leak is true or not unless Sakurai reveals something relevant to the leaked photos. As of right now I believe they're fake imo because as I said before they're too many discrepancies for these photos to be legitimately real.

Plus in one of the screenshots Shulk seems to be performing Ike's jab. At first I was convinced because of Duck Hunt Dog's picture but now I feel more at ease.

Plus, expecting the worst is kind of the best move to make at this point. I don't want to keep my hopes high only for them to be dashed when it's time for the big reveal.

I'm seriously not trying to ruin everyone's fun but the line argument is irrelevant now. It's present in the demo build of the game. As bad as I hate to say it for Krystal anyways this isn't looking good for her. You guys should try to catch up on it all in the leak thread. Yes I'm aware it's long as hell but it's got the evidence. I've been following it very closely today.

EDIT: Also this isn't exactly the place to be discussing said leak so we ought to stick to the thread's purpose: Krystal and if you wanna argue the leak, I gave you the place to go. I want Krystal as much as anyone else here if not more but... I'll leave it at this... Also @ Shorts there could be Krystal DLC in the future who knows but for now this is it.

The leak isnt like any other leaks its been all but confirmed. We have renders that at BEST have "similar" older ones floating around the internet, and at worst are completely unique. We have a plethera of images, and the leak's tomodachi symbol had a never before room shown on it that was revealed today with the coro coro scans.

THERE IS an older rumor going around that has pretty much the identicle list of characters (from last month) but with Dixie, Ridley, and Mewtwo as well. So here hoping ~

What's with you. Nothing about this is confirmed. When you see sakurai reveal any of this then you should fear this but at this point there is no reason.

I'm honestly with Shorts here, my only hope is that future DLC will incorporate her... that or we get a game changing render of a character listed in the leak that looks totally different from the leak. That's the only thing that will kill it for sure I think.

Maybe because it's against the rules to derail this or any other character thread with general leak talk. On that note, I'm actually sifting through every post not having to do with Ridley so much as them just refuting leaks/lamenting it or this thread in general.

That goes double for any posts going forward. I've been running around putting out fires everywhere, but anybody who thinks they don't have to follow said rules are in for a rude awakening.

Keep it Ridley related at all costs or get warned. Or just don't post. **** is only going to get more hectic from here on out. Personally, I'm not one to quit just because the going gets tough.

Tomorrows POTD might shed some light on this leak in terms of proving it either true or false. Right know it seems every ones up in arms with this leak. I still have faith that Krystal could possibly make it in. This leak is just a bump in the road on the path known as making it into the roster.

I really don't like leaks like that, I prefer clarity.

So I guess waiting is the best option there, no need to infer facts from shoddy pictures.

And like I said, if it's true, then we'll probably get Krystal as DLC anyways.

I don't think Fox's custom moves will use Krystal's staff. My prediction is that they will involve changes to the properties of his blaster and some of his other B moves, but who knows? Perhaps he'll get his Adventures abilities. I wasn't expecting Mega Man to get Beat.

I think we have bigger things to worry about than if Krystal doesn't show up in SSB4 such as the new Star Fox for Wii U. We should be paying attention to that (But this thread will eventually be locked so...yeah)

Cause it'll be the end of character discussion for Smash 4. No point in continuing when the game will be out & the character's fates will already be revealed.

Depends on the outcome. There may be DLC, there may not be DLC. Nobody knows & we should wait for the answer

I hope so, Slippy would be so underwhelming. Don't get me wrong, I like the character, but I feel Krystal fits so much better in SSB.
