this is why power rankings are annoying+shouldnt even be made, nobody does anything but ****ing whine. honestly, nobody is THAT underplaced that they should be complaining, after the first few a lot is up for grabs because almost anyone can beat anyone within each given region.

stop whining and go to tournaments and prove you're better than your spot, and you'll get moved up next time.

****ing annoying, seriously.
I think if people have legitimate qualms they should be able to bring them up. Isnt that the point of this thread?

Yeah honestly, these don't really matter at all. If you're good than people in your region will know you by your reputation, not look to some arbritary list as a reference for skill.

ROFLcopter @ the dumb people in this thread.

I think everyone on the EC seriously needs to just read the things they type before they post.

I'm sure you will realize that you look like an idiot with some of the things that have been said in this thread.

This is not directed at intelligent/ laid back people that are cool and actually have a brain.

I could while away the hours

And my head, I'd be scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain.

I love being in front of Brookman, he provides a soft but firm muscley pillow to lean against. However, if CWJalex touches my *** one more time...

Im gonna start maining Ice Climbers so I can say I have the highest ranked IC's in new england to piss Iron Chief off.

How is cwjalex so low. He beat two ranked players last tourney, one of which is ahead of him. I blame it on banks for never making my sig.

and how did you do at these events? did you outplace everyone on the list?

i really dont go to alot of tournys cause i work on saturdays. i have been to 4 in the last marking period. 2 biweeklies a western ny, and smashality 3. you have me by all of 3 tournies while i am running a biz. to me work is more important then smash is but it is not hard to do a ranking system. look at who people faced, where they placed and how active they are. then you look at individual match ups. its all in fun anyways so why make a big deal out of it. if you place well at most tournies you will make the list.

warrior knight just become more active. travel to nj too. it cost what 20 for a train tic so i would like to see how you do if you are a little more active. also teams dont count so do singles please.

inui i can discuss what i wish out in the forum. if i am presented with a question i will back it up. you guys made your point to me and i heard it. i agree that he did have easy brackets but i also think he should have been higher. its no big to do. no one is making a fuss really they are all just waiting for the next list to come out. i am waiting to see how people preform at the tournies in this up coming bracket and rest assure i will be keeping logs of everything from now till the new bracket this time i am not trying to look on smashboards for a 6 month old placing and bracket.

hova 3 of top 6 is nj/ny/pa. m2k just goes and ***** all and then you guys loose. i would put our top 10 against your top 10 any day of the week and twice on sundays. saturdays dont count cause we will be out drinking after beating you from monday to friday. lol j/k

Why Alex is so low is a combination of things. He did lose to and beat Zoso. Zoso is above him because Zoso has beaten th0rn and can be ranked more accordingly because of tournament placings(lots of tournaments). Alex would just have to go to more tournaments and prove himself more to get ranked higher.

If Alex did not lose a set to Zoso I might have put him above him.

He played a fox ditto with Chillin early on in the bracket and lost soundly.

Then Chillin Chu M2K split first second and third.

M2K's next match would have been Chu so it works out in the end.

I wish people would play their matches seriously and split AFTER the tourny privately.

Would make our job a lot easier...

Also ROFLLL @ Banks' sig.

QFT. I think any tourney that is a part of the circuit should have a mandatory rule stating that even if players choose to split the money, they should have to play one another in the finals. Too many tournaments are being ruined by this.

I've never liked the idea of tying in the finals, and I agree with Cort and with the article I posted a link to above. If people want to split the pot after the tournament, and do so privately, I don't give a ****, it's their money. But it is disappointing to see people tie in the finals in a major tournament. Especially if the two people that made it to the finals sandbag during the finals because they simply don't care, or are too lazy to play for real. It's a tournament. We're there to find out who wins, not who decided to not play seriously in the end and split the pot with their friends.
