I get the feeling the characters popping out of the borders was an oversight with Pikachu and the direct, and now they're intentionally doing it to mess with people that think it means something.

I think that Jigglypuff will be the last--and only--Pokemon revealed, simply because we already have 4 reps. If Pokemon actually does pass the Mario series (people with the MUSHROOM ICON, don't pull this Wario + Yoshi bull**** on me.) in reps, I'll honestly be suprised. Plus I don't really feel like we need Mewtwo with Lucario and Greninja. IN OTHER WORDS, Pac-Man.

I just don't think Jigglypuff will be revealed @ E3 simply because there is Pokemon Art Academy coming out after E3 and Jigglypuff can be revealed for it. If Smash Bros 3DS's release date is somewhere after July 27 then Ness or Lucas won't be revealed @ E3 either for their Mother's 25th anniversary on that date.

I have no idea how many veterans will be revealed, but I'm not expecting any more than one newcomer. I said that about the Smash Direct on another forum and people seemed to think I was being pessimistic. If I had to put my money on anyone, it'd be Pac-Man, since even unlockable 3rd parties are never kept secret.

Remember that we already have 30 characters, and likely a good amount of them are going to be kept secret until release.

How I feel:

It's now or never for Mewtwo and Ridley, we will know their fates by the end of E3, playable or not.

If DK gets a newcomer (which it likely will) then it depends.. If K. Rool, then I 100 % expect an E3 reveal, he'd be too hyped to not reveal before release; if Dixie, then it could honestly go either way.

One of the two swordsmen; either Chrom or Shulk. After the Ike reveal, I feel it could potentially be a setup for a FE newcomer (who would most likely be Chrom); and I could definitely see Shulk revealed to tie in with the inevitable X trailer/info we'll be getting. I just personally don't see two swordsmen being revealed at the same time.

Palutena could again, go 50/50 with me. I mean she's a shoo in at this point, but not sure if they'd keep her secret or not.

Thrid parties; if Namco gets a rep (Pac-man) then that rep will be revealed here, no doubt. They haven't even received credit on the official website yet, so I feel like they're waiting for their rep to be announced to put their name on the site. Also, either Snake or some other Konami rep (Simon Belmont anyone?) Will definitely be revealed, if Konami does still in fact have a rep. It's pretty much guaranteed that all remaining third parties will be revealed at E3.

I think Wario, Ice Climbers and Meta Knight are almost a given. Possibly Ness, Lucas or Falco, too (because Sakurai has been weird like that).

In terms of newcomers, I can see Pacman, Palutena, Chorus Kids and Mii revealed at E3. Maybe an unexpected character like Isaac, Shulk or Wonder Red.

The character that I'd most want revealed would be either Chrom or Tactician (Robin), but I don't know if that'll happen at E3. Unless Ike's reveal last week was to get him out of the way for a new Fire Emblem character to be revealed at E3.
