Lol, his self portrait's in the first post. Unless he's been lying to us all this time...

Those lines are great though, I always like seeing cartoon outlines on realistic imagery. Kudos on doing the hair so well. Nice brush strokes. Portraiture's so difficult, I dunno... I imagine it takes years of practice lol. Then again, what doesn't?

I want to see color though. Grayscale looks unfinished to me since I love color theory and whatnot, unless it's a grayscale photo.

Yeah I wanted to try to give it a painting-like feel, so I left the lines in to keep it stylized a bit. I found it weird doing a digital portrait, because I can literally trace over the original on a transparent layer with not only lines, but value too, and at that point it's practically rendering, not really drawing.
I'm not brave enough to delve into color yet Neon D:
btw it still says 'blowtoes' in the OP self portraits.
