I started this some months ago because I wanted to see how well I could draw a male body without reference, and Mizumachi was a good choice because he randomly takes his shirt off a lot. This took way too long, like at least 10 hours, of which literally 3 minutes were spent on the legs. Which is weird because they also look the best ._. At least I drew something though. I have another picture that I started like half a year ago that I may or may not finish.

Don't know if talking to be, but I did do a lot of vector things...

Back in 2007 I was really into making vector things in Illustrator for some reason. I think I was inspired by something the Illustrator teacher showed in class. I never got to those advanced levels though.

I actually did enough extra credit that I passed the class, even though I basically had to drop out part way through.

@Psycho: Yeah, I feel like it's pretty easy to get the hang of vectors once you start using them, but people have definitely done some crazy advanced stuff with Illustrator... Looking at the style of your recent drawings here, I can kind of see how it would be right up your alley.

By the way if anyone has cheap tablet recommendations I'm all ears. I have always been a mouse guy, but getting a table will speed up the process. Grass is a *****. Things aren't as sharp as I want them to be; I suppose practice will solve that.

I've had a bamboo pen for 3 years now and it's still alive and kicking.

random tip though, if you want sharper grass, just use a small standard brush instead of airbrushing. Tablet pressure sensitivities make it easier to get a sharp tip too
or you could always download grass/fur brushes c:

A really cheap tablet alternative I'd suggest is either an itouch, a tablet, or 3ds. Though there's probably more cheaper options for the computer use but I like those things are because the screens let me see where my hands are in relation to the drawing and it's easy to take outside. Only downside I know of is that there's no pressure and it's always a small canvas.

Wacom in general makes great tablets.

I had a Bamboo Fun that I got before my sophomore year of high school that still works. I gave that to my sister to trade up to an Intuos4 medium for the larger workspace and better opacity levels.

It was called UW Advertisement, a fake advertisement I made "recently" for a game mod I made as a child for nostalgia's purpose.

I guess people looked it up thinking UW stood for something else...? That's all I can think up why it was removed.
