I was saying that they arnt the "true" mascots. If it where down to mascots than they wouldn't be picked.

I wasn't saying that ONLY mascots get in, I was saying that if they ONLY chose by mascots that Lucario/ Blaze/ Deoxy wouldn't be picked.

Perhaps by your definition of mascot, but simply being the first doesn't nessisarrally make it the posterchild.

Well, being the first and only to actually market and promote the next gen for years before it actually comes out world wide sounds like a mascot to me.

. . . Munch has been in the Deoxy movie and played the comic in the series. Here in America theres a BIG gap between Munch and Lucario (Mime Jr/ Bonsly came out before Lucario).

Anyway munchlax was here before lucario.And he was in the anime like b/light said.But I definatly see lucario ahead of munchlax.
