Agreed, they should make it so that you can get a hoenn starter in HG/SS and yes, I feel that they should have a game with all 4 regions. Would be epic

You CAN get the Hoenn starters in HG/SS. After you beat Red you get to choose from the 3. What I meant was that since you DO get the Hoenn starters, you should be able to have access to the Hoenn region. It makes the game much longer and much more replayable.

Although, I'll probably be busy with my dex when I'm done with the whole thing. With this game, I am going to try to accomplish the thing I've always wanted since I got my first pokemon game, get a full dex, and as a bonus, try to make it a living dex. I doubt Ill make it though, but since it DOES have wi fi, it should make the process much easier. You know, not having to look for people who have legendaries and other pokemon I need in my school, and just posting up a request on the GTS.

I felt like I did pretty well, but as always I'm gonna end up with such a poor score..

Thank god that even though my DS is a bit chipped off at the edge, is freaking old (well its not THAT ugly, but it DOES seem old), and the screen is a bit wonky (doesn't happen often), I'm happy that I at least have a DS and am an only child.

You might be able to save its life yet (although I'm not sure if rice really does anything, but give it a shot!).

You could always unscrew your DS and take it apart to let it dry, but that might void your warranty. :X
Or if your warranty is still up, send it to Nintendo.
