I'm hoping the pika & puff get some more accessories from the games. Mostly I just want Ethan's hat, but there are plenty other possibilities.
Other PC's hats, recolored to match their generation's colors so that the costume lineup isn't oversaturated with red. Hats based on the villainous Teams. Elesa's ear-things. DJ Mary's headphones and glasses. Lanette's glasses and bandanna. Iris's crown. Kimono Sisters' obi and kanzashi. Blaine's tie and shades (and 'stache). Surge's shades and tags. Lorelei's opaque glasses. Will's mask. Riley's hat. Marley's bow and collar. One of Bianca's crazy hats. Winona's helmet. Maylene's bandages and gloves. Crasher Wake's mask. Lenora's headband. Skyla's propeller. Caitlin's Gen 4 ribbons. Double jigglypuff's flower and make it more resemble Phoebe's. Conquest's PC's' crazy horn-crowns. Plenty of basic trainer classes, Colosseum accessories, and stuff based on other pokémon.

Speaking of Ganon costumes - I really want a Wind Waker costumer for him, I know it wasn't people's favorite game, but one awesome thing about it: Ganon had swords!

you do have a point. it would take a lot of time to rig models and give them the moveset specifically for that character. it would be be nice to see them in action though.

For example, I originally wanted OoT Link's red recolor to have the Mirror Shield and gauntlets, but decided a simple recolor would suffice to save time. (Plus, it was like that in Melee)

Alt costumes are going to be updated, don't worry.

No character "needs" an alt, and every character will get at least one eventually. It's just a matter of time, particularly since our modelling team is quite small.

Also, this might have been asked before, but I'm guessing that PMBR doesn't use other people's Brawl Vault textures because they wanna keep it professional, but the Kirby the Epic Yarn colors and Julz' Peach outfits are very well done and could fit in well a salt costumes. As long as you give them credit I'm sure they'd be flattered.

I would personally love that idea. It's good to differiate from melee a bit. I don't think anyone would be against it. ^_^ I'd love the alt costumes to have different shields and swords.

I saw that and I dig it they had one that had multiple colors and I was curious if they didn't glitch up like you said the model you have does. I tried the prince fluff one on brawl+ and he just kept randomly dying but the kirbys seemed fine.

Oh, and if they're gonna do pirate Pikachu they need to balance him out with ninjachu. I guess technically we can play pirates vs. ninjas with piratechu vs. sheik, but it's just begging for the Pikachu continuity.

It could either be a traditional ninja or a total rip on naruto, cuz every master of stealth wears bright orange and yells "believe it!"

Cept I don't necessarily want a straight up narutochu cosplay. Something weird about a Christian playing as a character with a demon inside of him lol

i have most of those on my official build. xD But wario has enough where they could replace some of the bad textures with recolors. I would not be against this.

I'd honestly like the alt costumes to have some team colors on them.
I also think Jiggs and Pikachu need there fur slightly altered. The colors can be based on old sprites, evolutions, shinys, or Pokemon they are similar to (pikachu is similar to plusle/minum and marill and jiggs is similiar to driftloon and clefairy) or any combo of them. Heck, give em a mewtwo clone from pokemon the movie 2000. Mainly, I'm concerned about green, red, and blue colors. These team colors could also be alts. Marill blue pikachu with googles?Female (heart shaped tail) Raichu red colored pikachu with a thunderstone crown? Shiny minum colored pikachu with x or y's males default hat.
Shiny (blue) jigglypuff with a shiny stone on her head. Redish with Selena's (X or Y girl) default red hat.

There should be a pichu or at least pichu themed alt costume on pikachu. Heck, if they changed his googles costume to pikachu have a more pichu like look that be great. They could even give him a spikey hair look, and make him shiny colored.
I also fill like pikatwo (sharp ears and tails) and zippo (messy hair) should be included on some of the textures, it could be on any of them, even party hat or pirate.


Honestly, shinys should always be included on pokemon.

Anyways, Young Link should be represented by an Alt costume for Toon Link. Now a lot of people are going to yell about hurtboxes and such, but even if it is just toon link that's dressed like young link that be fine. Like as an alt costume, it could be a darker shaded toon link with a deku shield, kokori sword, no paints, uses slingshot instead of bow, throws bombchus, uses the OoT boomerang.
Heck, you might be able to get away with hurt box differences if you put just put a mask on this alt, like the deku mask or mask of truth. http://zeldawiki.org/Mask
