I really hope this has a CSP. Anyways I'll probably replace Dark Toon Link or Normal Toon Link for it. Great job on it.

Not to keep all of these off-topic conversations going, but in regards to the Mario one... Has anyone seen Egoraptor's latest video? I'd link it I'm not sure if I'd be safe doing so with all the innuendo and profanity in it.

Yeah, I saw it yesterday. Somebody linked it in the Social thread. Not what I was expecting based on the first 10-20 seconds.



As for alt costumes: Captain Falcon sans helmet. Has that been suggested before?

I actually bought the whole soundtrack and it's AWESOME. That video was pretty freaking great.

I think my concern with Doctor Luigi is that it is a BRAND new game design. I'd worry about C&D orders :/

Does anyone else that the melee Fox CSP looks kinda bad? It just doesn't look as good as any of the other alt CSPs...

It'd be cool but I think it'd be weird to have an uneven number of Dr. Luigi costumes to Dr. Mario. It's the (Extended) Year of Luigi, he needs at least as many as his bro.

On topic: isn't it weird how standalone costumes (Mr. L, Shadow Queen Peach, Outset Link, Beta Knight, Dry Bowser, Pirate Hat Pikachu, Classic Wolf, probably a few others) without any recolors still have a different CSP than normal? I think the standalones should be in the same pose at least if PMBR isn't planning on doing ny recolors, it's weird how Outset Link takes up a whole slot but in a different pose...Is this bugging anybody other than me? I think if they're going to not do any recolors then just do what they did with Punch Out DK and keep him in the same pose.

Wario's biker and classic outfits have different poses. As such, all new alt costumes should follow suit by posing differently than the default recolors.

Gold and silver Armored Mewtwo follows this rule to a tee. Punch-Out DK is the weird exception here. I almost didn't notice the skin change because of: a) the pose, and b) the costume bar.

Yeah, it is kinda weird how some of the alt costume CSPs share the same pose as the regular CSPs while others don't. I think that they definitely give an accurate picture of what the character looks like though. The Fox alt CSP just looks so weird compared to his actual model.

Yeah I can see that, I guess. But what would you consider Crown and Fairy Jigglypuff and Boxer DK to be? Alternate costumes or just another (special) kind of recolor? And I didn't bring up Dr. Mario, Biker Wario, and Armored M2 because they're not standalone, they all have their own recolors.

I think that everything that possesses a caution sign should have a different CSP pose. The Fox Alt looks okay to me, though my favorite of the alt CSPs is Doctor Mario.

If it doesn't have the caution sign, it's not really an alternate costume. Just an additional one that fits the same theme as the rest.

Well maybe if the "ready to fight" bar was a little bit higher I would be able to see the damn things.

Are there any plans to add team re-colors to the currently implemented alts? Specifically PM Lucas? That'd be awesome.

If they don't come up with any more costumes for certain characters, filling the available spaces with alt colours for the alt costumes would be a good idea.
