To Nanobuds, Mewtwo2000, and any other PM devs that churn out video content. Will it be okay for you, before the release of 3.6, release some videos showing off the new and updated stages?

I think the PMDT is against cultural references in the game because they want it to be accessible to outsiders, but man would I enjoy a new crowd cheer.

Yeah, that makes sense. I like your idea of the cheer because it's super subtle yet hilarious to anyone who knows, I like subtle cultural references.

Also, check your Project M co-op event matches. You'll find one that's completely a cultural reference.

Wouldn't it be so awesome if we could all record our voice individually but then have them compiled together to make brand new team chants! Forever an idealist haha

Trust me I've tried something like this. Mixed mic qualities kills this. Everyone either needs good mics or we'd need an expert mixer.

That's what I figured haha. I wish a lot of people could get together and record all at once, but that would have to be at something like Apex or EVO. Or you could send around or have everyone who wanted to participate buy the same mic, but again that has its own issues.

I just want to make this game as different as possible, with small stuff being different as well! Things like that and pretty much everything mentioned in this thread help differentiate PM from just a Brawl hack

I'm pretty sure the Skull Girls devs actually did that, it would definitely be a cool shoutout to the community.

I think the green suit from Metroid Prime 2's multiplayer should replace the current green one. Here is a picture of a mod someone did of it, including the other multiplayer colors as well:

I wouldn't mind having the others either, but with the current lack of slots that's likely a no-go.

I also think the pink color should be removed so another slot can be freed up. Samus regular color could be made the red team costume in its place. That would free up room for either the PED or Phazon suit.

Default Samus isn't Red Team because it's still connected to Zero Suit Samus, whose default is blue. If she changed mid-team match it would get confusing.

Oh, I didn't even consider that! For some reason I had gotten the idea that it was no longer possible to switch between them.

I personally hope that's something they change. It's kind of silly how you are able to regain the suit you just destroyed, by doing a taunt. Not to mention it's really hard to pull off and is only doable while on ground, and thus likely not doable during regular play. Using the final smash more or less makes you involuntarily stuck in the other form.

See, I'm actually for the opposite. I think it would be interesting to be able to change between Samus and ZSS more freely during matches, ala Sheik and Zelda. Though, who knows what that would mean balance-wise, or if it would be a big deal

The taunt thing isnt in PM afaik.

And samus already has Plasma/Ice beam
She doesn't need 'remove armour' too.

Some quick advertising real quick on my part, you should check out the newest addition to the Smash 3C build. You might find what you are looking for and more ;D

But in all seriousness, those multiplayer recolors are amazing and I wish they'd be added in officially in some capacity.

So this might come off as blasphemy... But I came upon a realization.
So the music at Onett is awesome, Earthbound is a beautiful game that we all love...

Given that the standard green colour isn't canon to Metroid, I would agree... But it IS very bland compared to the other Metroid Prime 2 recolours. Maybe the team could take a few creative liberties with it.

The pink colour, on the other hand, is very iconic, getting rid of it is blasphemy... But it's not very red for the red team, I think the Phazon suit would be more red.

THE MULTIPLAYER BLUE IS PERFECT THOUGH. I definitely think it should replace the Dark Samus one, I have that in my build.

Monthly reminder that If someone could rig a Melee Texture file to or into a Brawl Texture file that I have Melee Daisy Peach Alt's Texture just not able to rig it myself :((


EDIT: I have my own Melee Daisy Alt but no matter how many times I take it to Photoshop it just never looks authentic. This is all I need.

We now have 100% Legit Daisy Peach Melee Alt.

I can die happy today having this.

That's not the semi-alt though, but a recolor of Melee Peach using slightly modified textures from the semi-alt to fit this model.

That did not make any sense to me. Semi-Alt? I provided the Textures from Melee and someone found a way to reformat them into brawl's texture format and wa-lah.

Also, I had an alt that was nearly 100% on point but it's the F****** Tan. I can not for the life of me recreate it in photoshop. so many different shades/lack of skill..

I'm happy for you, but let's stay on-topic.

So does anyone predict that we'll get more alts (not just recolors) for 3.6 other than Samus' Dark Suit?
