Kidding aside, why not add new skins for Snake? He has a new suit in each game he stars in, and yet he's only got his MGS2 costume! The potential is endless, it would be possible to add his MGS1 costume from Twin Snakes, Big Boss from MGS3 and Peace Walker, or even Old Snake from MGS4! (Could get his model from Metal Gear Ac!d 2)
Think about it. The process wouldn't be complicated at all, all you'd have to do is rip the model from each game and rig it to work with Smash Bros. Could even add a few tweaks while you're at it too, like the Fulton Recovery, for example.
Give it a thought, and perhaps make MGS fans a little happier?

For some of the palette swaps of ice climbers, its pretty hard to tell which one is Popo and which one is Nana. I was thinking this could be solved by making all Popo hammers one color and all Nana hammers another. That way it would be easy to tell which is which during a match. Just my two cents.
Awesome costumes by the way, especially Light Samus, I love MP2E.
That's been discussed, actually. In fact, I think that was the original reason I made my list of all the suggestions. ... Though I stopped updating it a few pages back.
Still, there haven't been too many new suggestions, so it's still a fairly complete thing if we were to start a new thread where the OP could be updated. I can't be sure, but I think this was the newest one. Awesome to see that some of them made it!

I never even thought of having shadow colors for Pokemon. That would be pretty cool. It's a shame that more costumes can't be added to certain characters. Someone like Mario has a lot of potential.

I wish the PMBR would take back their statement on certain characters not getting any more costumes. They took away Mario's Wario costume for more Dr. Mario costumes, I don't see why they don't do the same thing by taking away a Dr. Mario costume people like the least and replace it with another costume.. Like say the Super Mario Sunshine aloha shirt and shades. Or for the case of a certain other character on that list, the black palette for Falco getting swapped out for the Star Fox Adventures Falco.
And if that's gonna be the de facto OP list of most wanted costumes, add Dealer Luigi, and Cowboy Luigi to Luigi's costumes.
And now that we've actually got some costumes confirmed, I think we should take them off the list.
Hi Nano, I was hoping you could help out with something.
Ok, I'm really inexperienced in this field. I found a Model I wanted to use for Sonic. I take no credit for this model, it was made by eggmanteen on deviantart. It seems to be a basic model(.obj, .mtl, .dae, .fbx) with some textures. Ive tried my best to do this myself, to no avail, so I'm not coming here just to be lazy, I tried my best myself(model caused game to crash ) I would be VERY thankful you could do this rigging for me. I would PREFER that you just use the glasses/shoes to be put on the regular Project M Sonic, but if thats to much work, then just rigging this model would be fine. If you can do just the shoes/glasses, please do the best to maintain scale. His shoes are alot bigger than his regular shoes, so watch that area. Im not sure how to apply textures correctly, but their included in the files. If you can do this for me, I would be eternally grateful. I love your modeling, and Mega Charizard Y has to be one of my favorites from your content.
EDIT: OH i guess i should also say if you put the shoes/glasses on the PM model, also include the black bands on the gloves.

I'm sure there are those working on unofficial alts for Lord Ike though. I know the Smash 3 Project is working on Awakening Roy on the off chance that he's not an official costume. Looking forward to it.
Oh. Oh well :\ it was worth hoping.
I actually don't mind that they added Hector's armor.
It means Ike can have all 10 costume slots filled when they also add his Lord, Hero, and Vanguard costumes.
Nice to see Ocarina Ganon as an alt costume, it looks good. Light Suit Samus is pretty cool, especially the arm cannon. A little surprised to see Dark Meta Knight and Classic Pit.
Do you think they can make an alt color with SMB3 Mario? Y'know, with the red shoes, black pants, and dot eyes.
Can we get a full list of the confirmed alts so far? Apart from the confirmed ones, we know there's Dark Meta Knight, Hector Ike, Classic/OoT Sheik and Zelda.. I hope we get a blog post tomorrow.
Since seemingly all of our FE Fighters are taking on a costume of someone else, I'd love to see Roy sporting Klein's costume. He wasn't the most important character but dammit, his suit is badass.

This is a great idea. I'm going to talk to a mod about getting an Alt Costume Thread V2. The OP can haw Shin's suggestion list as well as a confirmed list. This could also benefit the thread by stressing the Alt restrictions.
