I'm torn between getting Starfox 3DS, or the God of War Origins. I never played either of these, =S.

Considering the revenue Square could have made on the FF7 remake, I don't know why they didn't go ahead and do it.

That would have been a for sure blockbuster.
Lol..and who says they might not do it? I'm certaintly don't have my hopes up for one but I also wouldn't be surprised if it got announced out of the blue since I'm guessing it was Square's biggest hit seller

Well..just get both!!

But of you have to get one I'd say God of War Origins is well worth it, if you have Star Fox 64 you won't see a big signifance aside from the graphics of course, it's still is good though due to it 3D effect.

Sony Unveils Scarlet Red & Splash Blue PS3 Systems at TGS 2011

As a follow-up to their Ceramic White 320GB PS3, today at the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2011 Sony has unveiled new Scarlet Red and Splash Blue PS3 systems heading to Japan on November 17, 2011.

Below is the official Sony PlayStation 3 Press Release, and to quote from Examiner.com (linked above):

The new colors will also come with matching DualShock 3 metallic colors. Both consoles will be sold at 29,980 yen each (or approximately $389.81 in U.S. dollars) when they launch in Japan on November 17th.

Press Release: The new "Splash Blue" PS3 system comes in a fresh metallic blue color that resembles a splashing water or the ocean while the "Scarlet Red" PS3 comes in a vibrant metallic red color that resembles a glaring sun or a flame.

Matching perfectly with the PS3 system, DUALSHOCK 3 Wireless Controller included in the bundle will also come in these special colors.

PlayStation 3 "Splash Blue" / "Scarlet Red"

Product name: PlayStation 3
Product code: CECH-3000B SB/ CECH-3000B SR
Release date: November 17, 2011
Recommended retail price: 29,980 yen (including tax)

Included:

- PlayStation 3 x 1, hard disk drive capacity 320GB
- DUALSHOCK 3 Wireless Controller x 1
- Power cord x 1
- AV cable x 1
- USB cable x 1

*This system does not support playback of PlayStation 2 games.

Ceramic White 320GB PS3 Heads to Europe on November 1, 2011

The ceramic white 320GB PS3 console is heading to Australia and Europe on November 1, 2011.

The white PlayStation 3 will come with two matching white Dualshock 3 controllers, and will be available at Micromania and in Australia at EB Games.

To quote: "Gamers in the UK can expect to pay 250GBP, while those in mainland Europe face a tag of €300 Euro, and Aussies will need to find $448 AUD.

Sadly, the white PS3 won't be coming to North America anytime soon--unless extremely geeky Sony fans across the pond are desperate enough to buy that they'll splash extra for importation."

White one does have some sexy appeal. One thing I liked about the older PS3 models was it had a shine to them...you could see your reflection. Can't do that with the new PS3s.

So..is the blue one scheduled to be in North America? I am planning on getting a PS3 this holiday season but this might change all that.

The next game I'll look forward to is Resident Evil 6. When I move to Japan next year in March it'll give me some advantages to be able to play games way before the states get them.

Haha, lucky you, aside from them coming out earlier sometimes they stay exclusive as well.

Though I don't believe that will be the case for Resident Evil 6.

I can't wait for Metal Gear Solid collection HD to come out soon.^_^

I'm waiting eagerly for ffxiv on the ps3. I hope they have trophies like the 360 had cheevos for ffxi. I'll sync my xiv account with psn, BAM. "You earned 100+ trophies"

Transferring from my current command to my new one for 3 years. I'll be living in Japan during that time working with jets and going out to sea and traveling to other foreign places we decide to stop at. On March 2012 I will be leaving the states.
Command? I have a slight idea of what you're talking about but can you confirm on what you're in?

Those new PS3s make my black slim look too "regular".

Time for a faceplate!

Haha, I always wanted to get those for my launch "fat" PS3, however with these new ones I'll rather get those instead since I don't own a slim anyway, I just wished they could have been released during the holidays though.

I believe those controllers will be metallic based though rather than just plain colored, still, I wish they came out sooner.

I'll look up the PC requirements, but chances are, I'll stick to the PS3. Anyone know how hard it is to play this on a console? The few MMORPGs I've played, I know you assign hot keys and what not...so there's definitely a jump in controls from keyboard to dual shock.
