Okay, let's start off with the following:

Final Fantasy VII is one of the best games ever made, in my opinion.
Final Fantasy VII is one of the MOST influential games ever exported from Japan to America.
Final Fantasy VIII was terrible, had boring characters, and a plot that was stupid.
Final Fantasy IX was good. People hate on it for the art style, but if you don't care, or if you do and get past it, it's a really fun game.
Final Fantasy X was a good game.

THE MAIN CHARACTER IS A ZOMBIE! ZOMBIE! ZOMBIEEEEE!

This is both interesting, and had a unique system for improving your characters.
Final Fantasy XI was awful. End of that.
Final Fantasy XII was interesting. The fact that you could leave the room, go read a book, and your characters would keep themselves full up? Spiffy. License Grid: Take it or leave it.

PHEW! Glad I finished that.

OoT > MM. By a WIDE margin. MM was a fun, weird thing. OoT was amazing.

SC2 was great cause of its stages. SC4 is great cause of Armor, customization, and a good cast of characters, in addition to Downloadable content. SC3 was AWFUL. Never bring it up. EVER AGAIN.

Marathon > Halo. If you don't know the game, look it up. The Halo guys did it, too.

And, finally: Melee is superior in a competitive environment than Brawl. Brawl is superior if you're six. :D
