I know the creators of Phoenix Wright were working on a new title (Ghost Trick, I think?), but I would have thought they would have busy with that project to focus on another game so soon.

I was hoping for AA5, but this is good too. Hopefully AAI2 will have a better final case. I personally found it a little weak compared to the other games.

Agreed. I still like Kay as a sidekick. Better than Maya and Pearls IMO.
Me too. Want to see more of him and Phoenix Wright, who can't play the piano at all!
I agree, Kay was a great sidekick. And I would love to another game with Wright in it.
Kay is awesome. shes not ******** like maya. i like trucy tho, shes funny
Maya is the worst sidekick. At least Pearls is occasionally helpful.

I hated them in AA2. I liked them in 3 since I got used to them.
As for partners, Franziska was always awesome to have around.
Maya wasn't the most helpful partner, but I liked having her there since Phoenix and Maya made a nice comedy duo, in a way.

We can hope that Capcom lied to us, or we can hope he'll be available via DLC.
It's probably a dumb excuse they gave. If it's true, I'd be really sad if that's the case since they stated Phoenix's problem was that he'd be broken/better in the US version because of how many letters there are in Objection! opposed to the Japanese equivalent.
Franzy was supposed to be in it too. T_T

Actually, wouldn't Edgeworth recognize Shelly de Killer? I don't quite remember the details from that case, though...
I'm pretty sure Edgeworth never saw him. I remember Wright and Edgeworth going to Engarde's house at one point, but I can't remember if he's there. Plus, he testifies over a radio.
