Has no-one noticed that all of tw@'s gay stages are gone? sure he can still go Dk64, and will - every time, but i don't think he stands a chance of making it into top 5 without gay stages lol. After every1 bans either DK64/***land, he is limited to battlefield for camping, and dk64, for.. watever jigglys do there lmao, or dreamland for living long, but reduced campyness

loool I noticed that from the first day I saw the stage listing.
Ben did it on purpose because he hates gay stages and he likes things as legit as possible.

I think this will hinder Tamoo considerably though.

the dazzle isnt mine, its unreals - if he comes i will be returning it to him at the tourney, and if he doesnt ill be bringing it anyway

So there is a 100% chance of a dazzle (dvc100), once we have a laptop we are guarenteed recording.

Sick, so atleast we got one GUARANTEED recording equipment there.

Hopefully we can get all the really good matches recorded so we will have to wait for other people to finish using it.
Doesn't anyonelse have a Dazzle, I know someonelse who does who used to play smash but he lives near Chrisboi and Chrisboi is gonna be to lazy to go and get it.

But i'm not sure if he has all the wires and stuff for it.

Err actually, I prefer all neutral stages fyi, i just cp gay stages if they are available but they barely ever work so ive started to go off of them a LOT.

Take for example me beating VA my counterpick, FD, and prof on dk64, and 2-0ing chrisboi on neutrals with no counterpicks.

If anything, this stage list favours me, stage striking is always good for a puff as i never have to play on ps1, and ppl have to use their cp to go yoshi's which i dont really mind unless its marth. On top of that, i have dl64, fd and dk64 to choose from. The only gay stage I like is mute city these days, and thats only my falco/shiek counter

adding it IS gunning inbetween, 6 neutrals, if you wanna add kj64 then you have to compensate for it in some way by adding mute/brinstar. kj64 is just too massively campy and also really hinders some characters recoveries by not having a proper edge. For instance it hinders my character a wall means i can up b/airdodge out of my forward b much faster and greatly increases how long i can survive.

I consider kj64 the border between cp and neutral, every stage helps some characters and hinders others. Whilst luigi loses the wall, he gains the barrel which luigi can utilise well. Plus luigi's recovery blows on most stages lol. There are camping issues, such as the infamous pink shinobi incident but thats why I consider it borderline rather than flat out neutral, and is hence put into counterpick as there is doubt.
At the very least it's not overly gimmicky which i like, although i probs won't cp it considering i prefer other stages much more.

On that note, mute is horribly unbalanced, it ever being in cps was laughable imo, as with corneria, im happy they're gone, its def for the better

Allll the way back at your tournament I actually left my charger in your room,. the same room that Jam was dancing in and stuff.

It was a black samsung charger and it was left near the plug near the door.
Do you still have it and if so can you bring it to this tournament?

i agree with you tamoo that luigi can utilise the barrel, and his recovery does suck on most stages. but many characters can use the barrel much more easily, fox and falco can stall with shine into it, peach can float into it, etc.. and corneria isnt as bad on pal tbh, cause tbh any fox johns on that stage are invalid cause thats the %'s he will kill on most stages on ntsc anyway. rulesets in smash have been far too americanised for far too long imo.

I win only £25 if you don't place top 4 and we either break even in set majority or I don't get to play you at all in tournament.

I lose £25 if we break even/ don't play and you place top 4 (This is unlikely or impossible if we break even though).

I lose £50 If I lose the majority and you place top 4.

Stages do not affect me lol. I will be banning mute forever from now on, brinstar is a neutral to mario (actually an awesome CP gainst peach), and dk64... meh, i havn't unlocked it on my cube yet so i've hardly played on it. But the angled platforms mean i can do some fiiilthy things with uair/dair -> waveland so i love it. BF is a fine stage, again neutral but its small so it promotes pill camping. Dreamland - ill just camp the middle with pills, FD - LOL, my best stage, dont even try it.

I meant this tournament should help configure the top 10/15.
Not the top 16 in the brackets should configure the top 10/15 in the UK.
Cos there could be people who would get in the top 16 brackets but don't deserve to be on the Top 10/15 in the UK.
Plus top 16 in the UK is a gay number lol.
