So. Last Apex was pretty terrible, with the exception of some of the partying afterwords.

This Apex was ****ing amazing. So much hype! So much fun! So much partying!

I nearly lost my voice cheering in the finals matches. Also made a killing on sidebets. =p

9.5/10 would recommend.

I'm sure the next APEX will be even more intense. I do look forward to going to that as my first tournament as well getting to meet different people. =)

I should also probably say that I had a downright super time at Apex. Like, this year's was at least 6 times better than last year's, if not 7 times. It was great finally meeting Tag/Cassio/Truth (whom I spent very little time with, sadly), Strong Bad was as cool (to me) as ever, Roller was Roller, and Luckay was there too. But the highlight of my weekend was probably just all of the time spent hanging out with KayLo and PikaPika!, you guys are pretty great. Brawl may be bleh, but playing All Brawl with you two was pretty fun.

Also, I hope that everyone who didn't go gets painful hemorrhoids sometime this year.

You had just won a doubles match, and when she asked if you had just won or not you gave a very curt response of, "Yeah, why do you care?" or something similar. Either way, you sounded annoyed when she asked.

But yeah, you were super busy all weekend. I was surprised that we actually got that Brony picture when we did.

It's just not worth it in the non-Olimar case, and that's only because I will never actually get MU experience and ICs are autopilot in that MU.

The way some people use a secondary is like a crutch. Basically a "use my main till i lose then bring out the backup plan".

Kinda what happened with all Mk secondaries and then usually just converts them to mk mains. Pretty sure at some point ESAM was using more IC than pikachu

The majority of people with secondaries actually use them more often as a means to cover their bad matchups. (Which you definitely already knew)

Usually, if they switch in the same matchup it means they are either giving up anyway, or saw they had no chance of winning with their main regardless.. In which case, switching it up sounds like a better option to me.

In addition, learning to use the other character can and will give you a better perception of how that character works, (their strengths, weaknesses, best options in various situations, etc) which inherently helps you when fighting against that character in the future.

So idk why you're hating on learning/utilizing the assets of more than one character.
