Happy New years everyone! I'm in Australia and the clock just ticked over. New years resolutions: Getting better at brawl (yay!) but my main one is taking my dog for more walks (i.e. always taking him down when i go to the shop)

I stopped doing new year resolutions because I think they're silly when done as an obligation towards the new year.
Just do it and get it done. Too many people treat the next year like their slate's been wiped clean.

I treat it that way, and I like it like that. Sure, I could do it whenever, but I use the new year as one of my periodic reminders to forgive myself for past failures and move on and do better.

Granted, it's not the only time I do it, but it's a convenient day to go through the process.

Well I finished sometime in HS, I believe. The closest I have to resolutions now are things like, "I gotta get that new Animal Crossing game right when it comes out" or, "I'm out of batteries, I better go buy some more".

I just make Mid-Year-Promises like to actually become beyond-tipsy in a night out with my friends for the first time. I wasn't tipsy enough at Espy's.
That night ago I kept my promise to become beyond-tipsy in a night out with my cousins for the first time.
