i've only read a few pages, but since it's not updated in the main post, i'll point it out again:
Charizard F-smash is a 2 hit combo. First hit does 5% and 2nd hit does 17%. I think you noticed it when you mentioned it reminding you of Bowser's attack, but didn't write it in.

and an interesting thing to note about Charizard's F-air, it has the most knockback if the first hit of the F-air hits the person.

It gets even more sophisticated with like his second and third post =P

Hehe no, I devised my own way for looking for old posts. What I did was look only for posts created 6 months ago and older, which was effective due to his join date being in april. That post was made on april 14, so yea, seems appropriate. I used the same method to look for mine, since my join date was february.

This idea fails. Seriously, what are they thinking? Why would you go as far as to hacking a game to "balance" it? Seriously, just ban MK.

the only thing that sucks... is i dont think sakurai really cared about this game (past making money) enuff to balance it correctly.


I for one, feel that melee was far more balanced than brawl. plus i mean.. tripping? wtf was he thinking?

infiniate chain grabs... that really can't be that hard to get rid of... and u would think once he realized that these "flaws" were in the game, he would release a patch to fix it...

but at the same time... having a community try to balance ia game? orrrr we could just play mughen. bcuzz that is really balanced lol.

i dont think iit will hold up anyway though... its just like people trying to make a specific custom level that would replace FD as the "fair for all stage". The games standard rules/mechanics are set in stone, end of story.

yeah, you're right, that charizard thing really was my first post hahahahaha.

I think at the time, I lurked Ganondorf, Link, and Ike forums, but didn't post. Aurashade+others did a decent job of making me feel like Link just had way too much movement/stuff that carried over from Melee so it was basically like having a newbie start out in the Sonic boards now. At the time, I played Ike because I liked FE, but it was such a popular magnet character so I started messing around using other characters. Then I shuffled through some of the perceived worst characters in the game to get a feel for the 'worst' before moving onto the 'better' characters.

I think I posted in the middle of my Ganondorf week, tried out Charizard for like 3 days or something, and then...

Or to put it in context (only because it's funny):

*DK gets knocked off the stage*

Sakurai: YOU MUST RECOVER--

Sonic: ***** no you can't lawl

*DK gets homing attacked by Sonic*

I like how most people applying have like >100 post count and have been here less than a quarter of a year.
I'd apply but I have the feeling mods hate all Sonic mains and I'm not exactly qualified to contribute to the SBR, there are more knowledgable mains here than me (read :- "most Sonic mains")
If I had the simple job of closing threads and other administrative purposes on the Sonic boards I'd be happy with that.

That thread was about a side project that we were considering as a possibility. It is not happening now, nor will it happen any time soon. And even if it did happen, it wouldn't be pushed as a standard or enforced on anybody.

So stop jumping the gun.
