I was hoping the name of the move would be called 'Condom Buster' instead of Peach Pillar. But, I guess it'll make her more of a **** then just a plain ***** XD

I'm glad that the metagame for Peach and consequently SSBM is evolving even after 6 years.

Hot and amazing.

Yeah, I need to see a vid 'cuz "float from the ground" is confurl]sing the heck out of me...is that another way of saying float cancel? *blinks* forgive me...and don't bean me too hard.
im pretty sure they r talkin about when peach floats at the lowest point she can (basically when u pretty much hold down and press and hold the jump button then let go of the control stick and do wat u want) basically its like a really really fast float cancel

lol when xif did it to people he wuz really low to the ground.....

if ure still confused look up superdoodleman's thread http://smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=32406 its under "instant float" just do that at like ground level

Actually, I'm too busy of getting the hang of Nairing close to the ground while FCling effectivly. So far, I'm getting pretty good with that as well.

Yeah, im working on it as well but i think that the hardest part is nairing instead of dairing on a low float. Has anyone found a good way of practicing the PP by yourself?
Yeah, go to training mode and play something like FD and just practice doing it frequently. I'm not sure, but I think it's best to do the ground Nair with the Z button so it could make your fingers more comfortable

you could just return the stick to neutral manually so you dont have to wait, just dont overshoot and do a uair. will take some getting used to but its not so bad. falcos practice by pillaring on somebody who has a starman since the invincibility acts more like a shield, not sure if that would work for this but its an idea.

i'm sad that they cant get the vids from fc up yet, i want to see cort/vidjo/xif :(

a good but difficult way to practice the low float Nairs (LFN).

Go to training mode and go to Final Destination (as peach of course). select the screw attack item. and try to LFN rapidly and consistantly. it's hard, but once you can do it that way, you've perfected it

Mmm, nice and speedy fc... but if that's considered being very fast, I wonder if I can consider myself being fast too after seeing that vid. ^^ What I'd suggest after nair->doubleslap would be either grab, short hop rising nair going from front to back, dash attack or going behind their back, since on that situation where they shield your nair and continue shielding that doubleslap, they are going to the grab. Anything that avoids the grab that comes out would be good, if you can do that. One slap more or sidestep if they're slow can mess em up, though usually grab comes first in most cases since they are pressing a right after your doubleslap ends. Though spacing against something else than marth would help to prevent shieldgrabbing altogether, along with fsmash and dtilt lean back properties.

the screw attack increases the speed of the jump. it challenges you to ur technical limits. lolz. it's just a method that I use personally.

so i was talking to jiano (a Falcon player) and he said he played and beat XIF at pound2.

jiano said that everytime XIF tried the pillar he just shield grabbed him after the jabs. in other words, peach float cancels her Nair, float cancels, jabs twice, then gets grabbed by falcon.

this is a very useful technique... but its far from godly.

I'd like to see another vid of the pillar in action. Also, if it works, Peach may become the new falco/fox/marth.

It is godly. You just have to mix it up and know when to toss in some d-smashes or just grab after the nair. Mix it up!!!!

And Peach won't be the new top tier character to use. This just adds to her pressure game and makes her offense alot more solid.

Instead of calling it a peach pillar it should just be called nair mix-ups/lead ins. Because that's all it really is. Using the nair and then going from there to pressure your opponent and keep them guessing. But if they guess right then Peach is gonna take a beating.
