Wait, Cape, what Throw leads leads to KO from UAIR. I was under the impression that throws didn't go to anything at KO %.

Dthrow never went to anything due to its slows start up. You can pretty much DI away every time and nothing can follow up. If your against someone who doesn't know the match up or isn't reacting well you can use it as a mix up at KO % to trick them into DIing up to avoid death by forward throw and then getting in a free fair/Uair or even Usmash. But, really, that never happens.

Fthrow doesn't go to anything at KO% just kills at like 170 or higher near the edge, which is crucial for peach.

Bthrow doesn't combo.I use it mainly as a way to get the opponent off the stage when i'm facing inwards. This works really well due to the steep angle. Dthrow does this as well but can lead to a free hit if they don't DI off the stage pretty far.

Uthrow combos alright but not at high%, or at least I haven't had any success with it. Characters can pretty much get out of it. Maybe if you mix up between fthrow and uthrow near the edge at high percent you might be able to pull off an uair. But I think the uthrow is still too slow for this to work. I'll test it more though, maybe i'm just being slow.

Either way, let me know what you mean please, it would be great to have a mix up throw game at KO% that leads to kills.

My opinion on her throws:

uthrow: decent comboer at low percents, but too slow/ sends too far to do anything at mid to high percents
downthrow: if your opponent knows how to DI well, this throw is pretty much useless
fthrow: only good for killing at very high percents
bthrow: only good because of its angle; too slow to do much with it

Uthrow: Use Uair/UpB
Dthrow: Follow DI
Fthrow: Percents aren't that high, it's a decent kill move + Sets up for edgeguards.
Bthrow: Meh :l

You underrate her throws very badly.

ehhh Maybe I'm just too used to Sheik's and Captain Falcon's down throw secksiness...

and peach's up throw is too slow to follow up with uair ( at higher percents) if the opponent DIs right....and up b is just useless to combo with since it doesn't do that much damage OR kill -_-

Is that so? Well it puts them in a bad position anyway, which is a good thing. And every damage + KB is a good thing btw.

I have gotten a vertical kill w/ Peach's up-b before. Not sure if it was recorded or not (sorry), but you can combo people into an up-b KO. At higher percents, of course. 120+ I believe, if you combo them vertically.

Yeah, I got a **** combo kill on CF once, up throw to uair, to uair to upb kill at like 140 or something. Of course I had to jump up on the platform for the second uair (BF) but it still was like 90% or so to death so hell yeah it can kill. You gotta either just hit with the last few hits or get luck with their SDI, i think.

Can someone tell me why Peach's turnips still disappear when they hit sheilds? Why can't we make them bounce like Link's bombs do, Diddy's bananas, or like they did in melee.

Just wondering, but has peach been given a faster umbrella fast fall speed yet? Its really annoying.
Her recovery is already borderline unpunishable if used properly. And if you hit your opponent on the way up, then you get free damage and they're thrown into a position where they can't punish your endlag at all, even WITH the umbrella closed(not gonna bother talking about reduced lag when the umbrella is open).

Anyway, I've got a few Peach+ matches from Pound 4 you guys might be interested in. I think the White Peach matches are especially good.

She's been that good. you just didn't notice before =D
no she wasn't. she was the same but the mechanics offered her no way to escape the ****. with that falling speed/weight/horizontal air mobility that's VERY bad.

When playing as Bowser, how do I not get destroyed by anything Peach does? Once she hits me, that is. Dair at 0% leads into any other aerial, including itself. I SDI the dash attack, but still.

Spaced Fairs are nice against Peach. Also, Bowser can do Nair > Anything against Peach.. so just abuse that.

So, no one has posted in a while. I was wondering who was going to HERB, if anybody. I know a bunch of crews are showing up for BP and wanna see if there are gonna be any good peaches.

Also, I was playing around and found a new tech (sorta). Its something I knew wario could do and maybe jigs too but hadn't seen it with peach.

You dash of an edge or platform and then bair and immediately hold back towards the edge. You'll land back on it. The first time I did it it was even cooler cuz I did bair, to ledge cancel to ledge grab to fair with invincibility frames. My opponent was ****ed. I'm sure most people know about this but its pretty good. Though I'd remind some people.

I hate seeing no activity in this thread, but seeing as I suck [I play against no one but COMs], I'll just ask a question.

How was he able to do those nairs so quickly? For some reason, I keep on doing dair even when I try to reset the stick as fast as I can.

it takes a good amount of practice. I learned it in like 10 seconds because I've been doing it in melee for years. Also, if you wanna get better, play people online. Wifi kinda fails, but it gives you match up exp at the very least. better than fighting coms.

Agreed with Vanz. Fight coms till you are sure are you button pressing skills but as soon as you get the timing down go online. A laggy wifi match is better then a com fight for practice.
