Me, Ominous, and Meow had a tourney yesterday.

Me and Ominous played in pools, no Gdubs dittos. He beat me 2-1 with secondaries. Almost did the GW ditto in bracket for 5th but we both lost 1-2 to the same wario (on the same exact order of stages lol.) I literally forgot to use Peach, who i normally use against Wario , it's all good though not mad or anything.

He got 7th, I got 9th (meh), meow was... somewhere.

***** the Olimar that always beats me, (my student beat him, too =) ). Played some MMs. Took SIlly Kyle to game 3 in a 5 buck MM killed myself twice in the 3rd game, it's whatever though. Also got my MM rematch Bowser vs Lucas from a long time ago when I got ***** because i was playing bad that day. Lost that too though, in the 3rd game something weird happened. I was using bowser's up-B and he was edgeguarding me with Lucas's PK thunder and i somehow shot up SUPER high. Like wayy higher than normal, it was sorta like smash DI except I went from level with the stage to like in the bubble at the top of the screen and sorta just slowly fell in helpless state into an fsmash. Not salty or anything though.

The only time i actually got salty was watching Ominous get gaaaayyed by snake this one match (I accidentally knocked down a white board or some ****.

Also almost caused an upset on our best DK (who went on to take 4th) but I accidentally used a 9 in the wrong direction... (yeah...) and then 3rd match I just got hella impatient and dropped the ball. I was so disappointed in myself but whatever, it happens, until next time i suppose.

brought a new smasher from my city too, he's a ZSS/Ness/Lucas and literally played Meow, Ominous, and Me in a row (that's sooooo unlucky =/ )

But yeah tourney was fun and stuff, learned a lot, taught a lot, played Project M it was hype (I'm kinda free but watch my matches anyway because it's got bowser, yo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OK42iAc09QQ&feature=g-all-u )

That DownB kept screwing with my head. I just though "Guy above me? Better SHnair. I probably did it 20 times, and killing myself at 40 didn't help much either.

Goron sucks, Funky Kong is where it's at, or at least E-123 Omega

Anyway, do you know where I can get that hack with Pokemon Trainer's pokemons seperately? You know, like in Project M you can choose Charizard separately on the screen.

Well, of course it's not if you remove the burden that is changing Pokemon each time you die and possibly even the Stamina mode.

Do you know the name of the hack? I could just look it up if I knew it's name.

That was an amazing tournament. Over 30 people, and we had 7 of are top 10 there(I think) So I'm proud of my placings. (Wooh 7th)

Smiley, I totally thought I was going to lose against your MK that 3rd match, I got lucky in the end though. The rest if pools were good, only lost to Yummy (The Snake Smiley got salty at when he beat me) who's ranked 4th in our state I think.I beat his MK the first round, and his Snake barely got me the second. The third match was kinda sad...I got stage spiked by a grenade at like...30% my first stock...and got another early death I think. He ended up two stocking me that match.

Were you refering to me as your student Smiley? Because I was the one that took Jane out of pools. I'm assuming my tips helped since you beat him.

I beat GV7 who's ranked 7-8 on our PR, and Jane who isn't ranked, but has been and is still a a great player. Wobbles, the Wario that beat both Smiley and I apparantly used to be ranked 1st, but he stopped playing brawl a while back for Melee. I almost got him the 3rd match, I had the lead but on the last stock he did some crazy junk and edgehogged me...I was in the parachute gliding toward the edge...I felt like I could've won there and gotten at least 5th if it weren't for that. But these things happen, next time I'll get him.

Smiley, when are you uploading that AZ scene video? You guys'll get to see me brag about how good I was doing in pools.

I usually wouldn't put in this much detail...I was just excited about the tourney is all. It's my first one since last year, and I'm happy about how I did.

What? No, why would you be my student? I've never trained you or anything lol. My friend Relic beat Jane in pools. But your tips sorta helped, yeah. But it was mostly what Relic told me about how he won that helped me figure it out, it was a VERY simple strategy.

But yeah Good job and all that junk, I really wanted to play you for 5th but neither of us got it, I guess. Speaking of videos and stuff when I upload, the only match I have of you versus Yummy is the one where you get ***** (because you forgot to record the others lol)

do you want me just to not upload that one since the only replay of the set was you getting ultragayed?

And yeah Wobbles was getting me with these weird 0-40% pseudo combo into fart KOs... he did it to me like 3 times it eradicated my stocks.

Edit: and yeah at our pools match, meh it's whatever that definitely wasnt the only or worst executional error I made that day. You deserved to win, I just pulled out MK because Peach wasn't really warmed up.

Lack of matchup knowledge. He was just playing Wario with strong reads, still decimated my stocks though. Fart, man...

I'm getting better at the matchup though, although I usually use Peach for it so i've never felt like I've needed to learn it as Gdubs

I bite more than the average Wario. Most rely on d-air tickling through shields or just for safe harassing pressure, and in those cases I typically opt to bite.

And I never really relied on matchup knowledge in Brawl because as long as I just space and zone well with good reads then IDGAF what the other guy knows or does lol. I probably have as much GW experience as you have Wario experience, to be honest. About the only matchup I feel comfortable that I will at least know as much as the other guy is the Snake/Wario matchup though, because back when I played we had at least 3 Snake players in our top 10.

Biting is a pain in the *** for that's for sure, unless you're above him or space a dtilt. Haha.

I'd love to play your sometime, I seem to have a winning record against most. Then again, I haven't played many American ones

I thought not. I was confused because I beat Jane too, so I thought you were referring to me, which didn't make sense to me because of what you said.

Yeah, wish I had gotten that 2nd match uploaded. I don't mind if you upload the third match though. I mean, matches like that happen, and some of the AZ scene might want to see it.

Wobbles didn't get me with the waft, he just hit me a crapload far away from the stage and then edgehogged my parachute. I probably cuolda lived if I bucket stalled, but I don't know if I would've reached the edge if I had.

People tend to jump after a bite, and I love it when the Smashville platform is off the stage and I can eat a jump far off. Air-dodges tend to come after that since people want to avoid more little nudges, and if I can drag you low and hit with n-air, f-air, or fart (I caught many people with that particular pattern that day) then you'll be farther and lower off the level than normal. It's worked a lot for me in the past.

I don't remember the last time anyone has gotten a waft on me. I seem to predict them every time. It's my official duty now to beat every wario I come across.
