Venue Information: The Venue is Wade's Comic Madness, one of the best comic book stores in the greater philadelphia area, and the best one I have been to. They have allowed me to rent out their basement for for SSBB tournament. There will be singles, and doubles at this tournament and possibly draft crews if time permits. The basement is a little on the tight side, but hell, if a room says it fits 50, it means 100-150 smashers. :chuckle:

Venue Address:
Wade's Comic Madness
8750 New Falls Rd
Levittown, PA 19054
(215) 946-9381

AIB Link HERE. Sign up if you are attending this tournament.

Directions: googlemaps! *Coming from philly you can take the train (R3) to the Yardley Train Station and I can make 2 runs to pick people up. ( I don't want too many people here lol, but the people from philly are always welcome. I can fit 4 people in seats and 1 or 2 if you are small in the trunk of my SUV.)

Wade's Comic Madness is pretty close to Pennsbury Highschool and in the same shopping center as Kazdon's, a diner. (Good food btw) If you see Pennsbury Highschool you will know you are close.

Upon entering the venue there will be a door to your left. It will "Restricted Area" on it. You may have to walk around to the other side of the store to gain access to the door. (It may be blocked.) Walk down the stairs and proceed to Me or Melo for registration.

Food There is a Burger King about a block away which is also near a Dunkin' Donuts and Rita's. The Venue is right next to Tommy's Tea Pot, a chinese takeout place, and Kazdon's which is a good diner.

Tournament Sign-ups begin at 11am-12:30pm
Tournament Begins at 12:00! (LOW-TIERS)

I'm not going unless doubles is $10 per person.

Disrespecting doubles by making it worth 1/4 the money per person is intolerable to me these days.

This is on my birthday weekend, too!

edit; screw it. 10$ is where it should be. Inui neeeds some birthday money anyway. Considering I want these to be monthlies... it should be 10$ for doubles...that is pretty much regulation.

I think i payed 5$ doubles for your tournies in november and december though xD

Well, it's not just about me winning doubles.

Doubles shouldn't only award 1/4 the amount of money per person that singles does. It's always at 1/2 even with the same amount of entry fee...1/4 is just like "lol, doubles, you don't matter."

Well I'm obviously going.

I'll just reiterate something for everyone thinking of going:
This venue is small. But, it could be my memory playing tricks on me, since the basement was filled with a shipment of comics and stuff, thus making it look smaller.

Palpi: What if too many people come xD? That is the only thing I may be worried about.

Wade (Venue Owner): Ah, well that's easy:

We kill them.

First, we rob their wallets, so right there that's extra cash for both of us (we can split it.)
And then we leave the bodies on the floor as an example for others not to **** around.
Trust me, it works like a charm.

Talk to ya soon!

I guess that solves that problem.

Also, we managed to fit 33+ people into Inui's Hotel room and this is probably the same size :)

LOL.

So I am pretty sure this venue is in Levittown, not Fairless Hills. 30 second walk is Fairless Hills.. That is pretty dumb, I better fix that.

People from philly can take the r3 here and i can pick em up at the yardley station :)
