Okay, guys, if you need to be picked up from the yardley station (pretty sure that is the closest one) please notify me on here or more preferably in a private message.

No worries :)

Melo and I aren't really looking for a big turn out for our first tournament anways. Also considering it is in a basement, that is probably for the best. I am contacting 1-2 other venue's for future tournaments. They are big enough for regionals+.

Good luck with saffron :)

Does anyone know of a way to reach this place via public transit? Like, are there any trains I could take? Or maybe there is a carpool passing close to Bethlehem? I want to try to come to this and bring a friend or two. I'd apreciate any help.

If you can get onto the R3 I can pick you up at 10:00 am and then you can help me set-up muahahhaha! Joking. But in all seriousness, I am willing to make pickups for the r3 line at the Yardley Train station.

Sounds great to me. How do you suggest I get to R3? I've never rode a train before so I'm a little clueless lol.

I wouldn't mind helping to set up, in fact I'd be glad to contribute a little!

You can get on the r3 in philly then take the train to yardley station.

I don't want to make too many pick ups though, so if your are driving and willing to pick people up, that'd be great if needed. I will make 1-2 stops, since I need to set-up shiz.

Get malcom a ride someone!

Any estimation on what time the tournament will end? I don't have a license, so that means I'll have to take the tour buses to get to and from Philly. I'm not sure if the bus schedules will hold up.

We'll see. In the OP, it says draft crews are going to happen if time permits, and those are fun. 1$ buy in for each player. 2 People in grand finals are captains.

If we have enough time.

I know the past two full low-tier, full regular tournaments have gone to 2am or later.

There won't be as many people here, so that may be an option, but I do want to be done no later than 10.

Right, I'm just saying if there's time for another event, and we have to chose between low tiers and draft crews, we should do low tiers.

Indeed, but if we are done by 9, there isn't enough time for low tier probably. We'll just see how it turns out, because I still need to be home by 11, and possibly drive people to the station, If I can't find anyone else to do it.

Do Low tiers and allow Sonic. Just follow the rules that Inui uses and method of running events and everything will be fine. This will be less populated but if time is a major issue then simply start the event as Regular Singles starts to die down. People don't complain, you'll know if you have enough time, and this would be 3 events as opposed to the 4 that have caused events to run to about 2am. The only reason that they even ran late was due to setup issues.

Hmmm. Hopefully we don't have set-up issues. Just low-tier singles though? (3 Events)
I'm sure setups will be fine.

What do you mean? I said 3 events bc I thought you were gonna go for Singles, Doubles, and Low tier Singles. Were you gonna do something in addition to these? If you have the setups 4 events would be no issue, but can you make your question more clear?

Btw can you tell me if you'd allow sonic(like all the other popular low tier events held if the past month). If not, I won't bother to concern myself with it, but still help out as best I can, and provide a wii like I'm going to either way

It is already in the op. Sonic is allowed.

Yeah, not low-tier doubles. Gotcha, was just clarifying that, should've made myself more clear.

Ahh ok, forgive my ignorance. I should've looked.

Well adding anything should really depend on time. inui will be there and he's good at making things run on time. I'm not sure how long draft crews takes though tbh.

How many setups can the place fit, and how many are already provided?

The basement is aprox. 1,200 sq ft according to the owner. Melo and I are bring 1 set-up each maybe if our friends come they can bring 1 or 2, we may need some people bringing some! save 3 $!!!!

We might not do draft crews, if everyone wants to fit in low-tiers and that is way that it seems to be. I just was worried about time, and draft crews isn't too time consuming, but with enough set-ups low-tier singles is much more fun :)

Low tiers is more fun for sure. Even if there was only about 7-8 setups, I think 4 event's would be fine but 3 should be over by 8 or so I would think. It might be a bit easier to plan out if you know what people are bringing. I'll have my wii there, I'm sure Ksizzle, Atomsk, and Inui will too and whoever else is going. JG is good at providing like 4 tv's etc. I'll ask them all at some point but either way, 3 events will be fine but I think 4 could work too but you'd have to have a better idea of setups. Btw, are chairs needed? This was an issue at Got Milk for a few setups

Ahh ****, oh well. It'll be fine.

If chairs are an issue I can provide about 4 or so.
