I still think that Ace will become the leader of the WB pirates after this haha. And I think it would be a little too much if Blackbeard appeared... LOL. I guess I wouldn't be TOO surprised though. However, Luffy and friends seemed to only get through the gate because of luck. WB's crew opened it, right? I don't know how BB would even get there, or if he had time.

Yeah, WB definitely opened the gate. Most likely he used his power while the Moby **** was underwater, or atleast that is what I always assumed.

Too many theories about BB in my head at the moment...

He's as good a dead. But he is going to destroy as much of Marineford as he can and kill as many marines as he can before he goes. Personally, I think he should take down Sengoku and Akainu will become new Fleet Admiral, leading to gigantic problems for all the pirates in the world (Akainu being the most ardent follower of 'Absolute Justice' amongst the admirals).

Hm... though it'd be cool, I highly doubt that Sengoku would die at this point. He just has so much of an influence on the One Piece world and we haven't seen much of him yet. Though Virg, it would be a pretty cool twist if your Akainu theory came true. It would also be a great landmark victory before Whitebeard's death.

i don't want to offend anyone or anything but anyone else here happy to be fan of one piece and not really care about bleach or naruto (i read them but only b/c they seem to be ending soon). The reason i ask this is b/c i know a lot of people who use to be really into one of those two but don't read them anymore or don't care about them anymore b/c they think the story's have become stupid. When i hear a friend of mine say this i always respond "u know whats still awesome one piece" and this makes me happy to know that my fav manga is the one which atm no one thinks is/has become weaker and just not very fun to read.

like i said at the top this is not trying to start fights with naruto or bleach fans this is just something i have personally experienced and i want to see if others have as well

I'd agree: most people I know that started off reading One Piece/Bleach/Naruto (relatively, since they didn't all start at the same time) have all lost interest in Bleach and Naruto, but still read One Piece with great enthusiasm.

I read One Piece and Naruto. Naruto, I get around to reading it whenever, but One Piece, I check the spoilers thread like once a day and watch the anime usually the day it comes out. Never got into Bleach because it looked uninteresting (and I hear it's almost all battling).

I like Bleach and Naruto. But to rip on Bleach for a second,

All it is, basically, is Ichigo getting his *** kicked by people who are clearly better than him, and then somehow kicks their ***** by suddenly "getting stronger"

It's been rinse and repeat throughout the ENTIRE series. Whether he uses his inner hollow or not, watch. It's gonna happen with Aizen too.

Also, he asked to get his own arm cut off to make it a fair fight with...Ulquiorra was his name? I forget how to spell it. I'm sorry, I don't care how Shonen you are. That is DUMB.

Sorry if that sounds offensive, and to be quite honest, I like Ichigo's character just for the sake of how intense he IS and that diehard attitude that pulls him through his battles. It's admirable, in my opinion. But hey, if you can't afford to laugh at the stuff you like, you can't afford to laugh at anything.

I've taken numerous magma punches through the chest and I've been fine.

That said, Akainu is (as predicted) the ultimate bad guy of the Marines. Aokiji isn't into absolute justice but is stuck in the system (so is Garp, Smoker, Coby, etc.), Kizaru is just a happy go lucky killer, but Akainu is arguably the strongest of the bunch and absolutely hates anything opposed to the Marines and their sense of Justice.

Blackbeard is going to kill him.

Dang it, I knew that either Whitebeard or Ace would die during this arc, but I did not expect them both to die for some reason. While Ace was great, the thought of how much stronger Luffy will become as a result is exciting. I hope that this event causes the story to have a more "serious" tone after it. Man! I love One Piece!

His Vivre Card went from full-size to gone when he intercepted Akainu's attack, so yeah, Ace will more or less be dead after that. However, that'd be bad writing on Oda's part - he spends all that time on "Operation: Rescue Ace" and has him die a few weeks later with no foreshadowing? I mean, if that was Whitebeard, ok - he was hooked up to IVs in his introduction, and he got that giant stab wound from Squardo. His death would be expected given all that buildup - Ace's isn't.

I believe lava is hotter than fire, which is why that's possible.
