The only tourneys I ever won were those Gamestop ones back at launch. Made it to the second round, I did.

Truth be told, though, I believe I used Olimar in only one, maybe two, matches. I used Wolf otherwise. However, I ***** some DK *** on Corneria. Good times.

mmm, I went a tournament not to long at a local community college and didn't make it past the pools to get into the bracket, then again I was up against people like darkrain, dmac, and a lot of poor match-ups (character wise). Round 100 people there.

I learned it's going to be hard to win a tournament playing olimar exclusively....

I've grabbed a first, a second, and a top 4 lifetime in local and college tournies. In the last one (2nd), there was one memorable quote:

I played in Smash Brawl Ranking's Survival of the Fittest tournament.

Came in 17th place out of 400+ people.

I won Supersmashbc.com's first tourney got $10 in VC games, won their next toruney as well, won a brawl central tourney, and i think i also tied for 17th in that SBR tourney that engo is talking about.

pretty much all local tourney's i get 7th and up out of approximately 50 people
we got **** good people out here in palmdale

Well it was just a 16 person online double eliminiation tourney on IGN...I know I know...but I won and I got 1000 VC points. Had to play a spammy wolf who ALL the did was press B, that was crazy BORING. Then in the finals I had to play a crazy good marth, who was Fairing the crap out of me. He won the first set 3-1(thank god for the winners bracket) then I won the second set 3-1. I am also going to Gigabits this weekend in Orlando, if anyone else is going let me know, hopefully I can do Olimar proud!

Just went to Gigabits yesterday in Orlando. I placed 16th out of 76 people. Not bad for my first tourney in person, I ended up losing to Galleon (Lucas). I was the highest placing Olimar though.

no worries, I've played galeon all the time at school, did you made any severe mistakes that costed your stock? there was another good olimar player by the name of icekid, but i guess recently he hasn't used him much.

recently placed 7th in a 53 man tourney with so cal's best (futile, teba, blitz, boa, plan 9, and shadow)
also got 7th in doubles but i play g dubs in doubles

btw icekid is not that good of an olimar, really.
mr. x is an awesome olimar
i am too but i lack some video proof as of right now. but i have people who have played both of us and say we're somewhat equal but no vid no proof right?
