Code:
[U]Allow More Than 1000 Replays/Stages/Snapshots[/U] -[I][B] by brkirch[/B][/I]
040C464C 48000184
Not sure how this works, as I don't load my Wii with Snapshots and replays. I usually transfer Brawl files to my computer, so I don't see any use for this. And if I'm not mistaken, this will make your Wii consume much more memory, but I'm not so sure.

Breaking News

There has been confirmation that controlling Boss Characters is in fact possible.

Y.S., the supposedly GOD of Japanese Brawl Hacking, has created codes that have been reported to work, but like stated, only in the Japan version of Brawl. Ports of these codes have not yet been announced.

However, keep in mind that those codes only control bosses in Boss Battle Modes, and it is impossible to play as them outside their stages/modes (no multiplayer, vs,online, etc).

Phantom Wings
(a great hacker) is waiting for permission from Y.S. to port these codes. Keep your fingers crossed, as this will make history in Brawl Hacking.

EDIT: After researching a bit more, this is what Y.S. said:

I didn't want to post the codes because I'm not sure whether Y.S. wants those codes circulated or not. I'll keep a lookout for any updates.

People are still as blind as ever, huh?

The bosses are only controllable not playable as in Character Modifier. You can only control them in Boss Mode or in SSE and make them do certain attacks. Y.S confirms, officially, that bosses to be playable outside of either mode is not possible. Which is said in what you quoted.

It's more useful if you have an SD Card that has 1 to 2 GB.

I did mention precisely the same thing in my post, although I don't quite understand if your response was a positive one or not.

Ah, well its not of any use to me then, since all my snapshots/replays go to my computer.

Texture Swap Info
This code will replace one character's texture with that of another character that is in the match.
XXXXXXXX = Character Texture used
YYYYYYYY = Character whose texture is replaced
80672FA8 - Character 1
80672FB4 - Character 2
80672FC0 - Character 3
80672FCC - Character 4

some textures just don't work, and cause a freeze

What codes have we not made/discovered yet?

No there is absolutely no way of fixing it.
The only other way is completely rewriting the code concerning Samus' final smash.
That is just not possible with the tools we have.

not anything is possible, you are forced to operate within the game's boundaries.

her Final smash automatically goes to her being ZSS it needs ZSS at the end otherwise she goes into the lightsphere as Samus and the game freezes cause there is no ZSS at the end.

So its not possible at all.

once the FS finishes she remains in that shooting pose as the game loads the ZSS data. in fact i would go so far as to say that the game begins preparing the ZSS data as son as the fs is performed.

So even if there was a way around it that would mean hard written hacks which takes a long time and has a good amount of side effects.
I know this is a month old post, but I just found it.

Y.S. made a code so that you never turn into ZSS after Samus's final smash. All we need is someone to port it. That would be great.

I know this is a month old post, but I just found it.

Y.S. made a code so that you never turn into ZSS after Samus's final smash. All we need is someone to port it. That would be great.
:) I see you found it as well. Let me ask Phantom Wings if he can transfer it.

Sorry for Double-Post, but...

Here are some more codes. So far, this is the complete list of extreme characters, which makes the characters listed SUPER FAST (not super strong. For that, use the Super Codes).

Extreme Ike doesn't seem to work for me. The others are awesome, especially when combined with the Super Codes.

Is this the code I want to use

Hi, I am a machinimator who happened to come across homebrew just a few days ago I have been using different hacks for good camera angles and special effects.

Now I was wondering if this is the code I want to spawn an item at a certain time in the game for use of one of my characters. If so how would I come upon doing that

Doesn't work in certain modes (The Subspace Emissary, and modes that don't have items such as HRC)"

And is there a possibility that the homebrew people can come up with a way of chroma keying is SSBB? If anyone can than please link me to a tut or post the code here please?

music fix codes

Well... do you think that maybe you or someone else that's reading this and has a usb gecko account, could post the "music fixer txt." Here is the link: http://www.usbgecko.com/forums/showthread.php?t=257 It's on the attached files in the first post. PLEASE, PLEASE! I would be eternally grateful, to whoever does this. :)
i needed these myself, so i searched through the internet's history and "cached" pages for a while to finally fix my luigi's mansion music, and i am generous enough to share them. hopefully this helps out many other people.

why is 90% of code discussion normally about music modifiers? the only reason i'd want to change music is to like change the various menu music that are loops of remixed version of the title song, to stop hearing the stage builder music, and instead something better, or wifi waiting room. you spend the most time with that music, yet it's like a 15 second loop.

but i think that the code discussion should be about those incredibly awesome codes, like boss control, item replace, action replace, moveswapping, partial character object size modifier, character switch, size modifier, and so on.

Definitely. I was messing around with some item replacements. I also revised the action modifiers for the Boss Control codes. Will Post the list with the updated movesets later.

EDIT: I updated the Boss Control Moveset if anyone is interested. There were a couple missing from the last moveset update. I also made them more interface-friendly ;)

Credit for these codes goes to Y.S., and Phantom Wings for Porting them (end of boss control codes)
Remember, you must be using a Gamecube Controller on Port 3 in order for the codes to work properly.

Yo, meleemaster50, is it possible for you to make this more readable by putting it in a webpage or something?

I noticed she isn't holding it?

I'm not too fond of button activators, but you may want to check this thread right here

There has been a great deal of request for help with button activators.
Thnx man, I can't spawn certain items so I have do redo the scene each time I don't get the item I want :(

GOOD NEWS IS PROP MODDIFIERS YEAH!!!

Again if anyone can make a green screen code rather than (insert stage here) it would help a lot

I smell a Ganondorf sword code coming...
Unfortunately, the answer is NO.

"I can already tell you that Ganondorf's sword won't work - while I was making previous attempts in getting it to stay I noticed that the sword wasn't linked to his hand like other things, but rather linked to his pivot point - so if you used it on the sword it would most likely hang in the air in front of him or something..."

Can someone post the link to the character modifiers please? The code that allows you to make Zelda hold her FS Bow, like in Jose_Gallardo's images. Thanks!

Those hacks are not yet completed, hence, no codes have been released to the public. Phantom Wings is currently working out some bugs before he has a definitive Props hack.

And here is a fresh out-of-the-oven code (although I think it was released a while back, not sure)

Code:
[U]Waiting room Replacement:[/U] [I]- by Phantom Wings[/I]
4A000000 90180F3A
38000000 FF000037
10000001 000000XX
E0000000 80008000

*replace XX with stage ID

May cause Luigi's Mansion Glitch
By the way, nice Avatar Matteh ;)

How sad... I wa shoping Ganondorf could weild his sword. But perhaps hope is with us and someone might find a way. I doubt this, but who knows, right? Either way, I can't wait until this code is released to the public.

Is this not dissimilar to the code like "Pit Always Has Mirror Shield"?

I wondered.

Almost, but Pit's Shield is an actual item, while things like Zelda's (or even Link's) bow are not. Props have no real means of interaction. They just make the game look more realistic.

They made the bosses kinda controllable, I wouldn't be surprised if they figure this out in the future.

PROPS CODE RELEASED (unfinished)

Well, the Props Code is done. I will be posting it shortly. And of course, all credit goes to Phantom Wings.

Here are a couple more screenshots from Phantom. Hopefully he gives me the OK to upload a video as well:

Wisconsin...yay that place no one has ever heard o
Just a question. I saw a video with the "place stage builder parts anywhere" code, and I was wondering if there was a code for SSE to "OPlace stickers anywhere" on the bottom of tropjies. It would just be cool to set it so you always get stickers+ trophies, never get knocked back, and do TONS of damage wouldn't it? It wouldn't be use to get anything, more just to feel like a badass

I tried simplifying the code. If it seems a little complicated, let me know and I'll see what I can do to help. There is also an updated version of the Prop IDs, but stuff like the Arwing/Wolfen props freeze the game on end.

Hmm...I wonder, are the musical notes Peach has during her side taunt counted as props?

EXAMPLE To Use Fox/Falco Blaster

Code:
Must Be On
4A000000 807767C4
D2000000 0000000B
80630000 3C808000
38842C00 80040000
2C000000 41820038
7CC83378 3D808120
4800000C 3D08FFFB
39088000 7C086000
40810014 7C003000
4082FFEC 38000000
48000010 38840004
4BFFFFC4 38000001
2C000000 00000000

Index Code
4A000000 80002C00
16000000 000000[I]08[/I]
[B][U]812867DC 812867D4[/U][/B] <- - - - Fox Blaster Prop ID on the Left. Right Prop ID is for Falco's Blaster
E0000000 80008000
If you would like to use only Fox's Prop, you would add 00000000 instead of Falco's ID prop. If you want to add more props, just add another line. Don't forget the Hex multiples!

EXAMPLE: Adding a second line

Code:
Index Code
4A000000 80002C00
16000000 000000[B][I]10[/I][/B] <- - - -8x2= 10 (in hex)
[U][B]812867DC 812867D4[/B]
[B]X3X3X3X3 X4X4X4X4[/B][/U] <- - - - Insert more props here
E0000000 80008000
If you have no idea how to work with hex numbers, don't worry. Just leave the YY variables to 08, and use only 1 line of prop codes at a time. And also keep in mind you must first use the move requiring the prop (ex: shoot with Fox's Blaster) in order for you to walk around with your new props.
