2. Not yet
3. Yes considering you can swap textures.
4.No because the movesets are not compatible and cause issues because of the way the game handles character data.
5. No and there most likely won't be one.
Yes there is a code for screenshot outside of pause menu

by unrestrcted camera, the camera is unrestricted from it's limits while paused. you cannot use a code for screenshots "outside" the pause menu.

Link to video will help in determining the code being requested, unless someone knows specifically what you are looking for.

While Performing Great Aether use the following commands:
Hold Z to do Bring them down to the ground.
Hold B to knock them into the air.
Release all buttons to end the combo.

Note: The Greatest Aether codes won't work (any of them) if the
one for the Nunchuck is used at the same time as the ones for the
Wired GC or Wavebird...

If you're wondering "shadowofchaos" and "shadowofchaos725"
are me.... It's just that I think the name without the number was
taken on the forum when I registered....

if you're going to post such a huge number of codes, most of which are already posted, put "

" around it

stuff like sse is located on the "other" part of the disk, because brawl is dual layered, and the codes that are normally posted only affect the data on the standard "regular brawl" part of the disk. (some other modes like boss battles have their data on the other side of the disk too, so the codes don't work for those modes

Haha, I was thinking of posting the same thing.

Well, more new codes, straight from the Cheif:

This code makes characters go to one side of the stage, and come back through the other, much like an arcade-style game. It is not yet complete, so I believe it only works on certain stages, like "Bridge of Eldin" & Luigi's Mansion. Haven't tried it on others yet.

Okay, I found the real source of the problem where that one guy couldn't get Diddy to shoot hammer heads, and why I couldn't replace two items with the same thing: if multiple item replacement codes are used, only the last one takes effect, period (at least on my console). Thus, they all need to be contained in one code, or they need to be modified to work together.

The question is how. I'm fairly certain the solution hasn't been in this topic yet.

Could this code possibly allow a Final Smash like Mario's to be used at the edge of the stage and come in to surprise foes form the other side?

no, no, i meant what do you replace to make certain buttons spawn certain items? there's nothing for it on the front page. i understand the whole no overlap between 1 and 4 player modes, though.

Sadly, this code doesn't work on the Mario Bros Stage. But don't worry, the code has yet to be completed, so I guess it will work with every stage pretty soon. I'll post an update if I see it finished.

So far, stages that I see it works with:

*Bridge of Eldin
*Luigi's Mansion
*Pirate Ship

I haven't tried on others, but i think it works in New Pork City too.

I found a really strange glitch while using Ocarina. I was doing a target test level two as Pikachu and I scored around ten seconds, (my personal best) so I saved a replay. Later when I booted the game through Ocarina I watched the replay again and it was totally different. The computer only smashed three targets and did them in a random order and the timer was at super speed. When I looked at all my other replays the same thing had happened. It was like the computer was doing its own way of HRC and target test...Very Weird

When codes are applied to the game, replays are affected just as well. replays are not saved as video files, they are actually re-playing what you did, in the exact same environment.so any codes being applied to replays will change it. (or the same thing if codes were used when recording it, and then not using codes)

It's not a glitch, if you used any codes to aid you and saved the replay, the replay does not store the codes you used at the time. Codes are only temporary memory writes, when you have Ocarina off and play a replay that had codes on (let's say, Super Mario) and you kept shooting fireballs and won the match by just doing that and quit Ocarina and boot Brawl normally the replay will show you shooting fireballs... but, it won't be rapid like the Super code, it'll be normal fireballs.

Let's take another code, No Tripping. You save a replay of constantly dash dancing while No Tripping is on. When you quit Brawl and boot it normally (without codes) and watch the replay you'll be seeing yourself tripping constantly and get some weird results because the replay originally had no tripping on, without it on, the replay becomes distorted. Same as if you had codes on and watched a replay that didn't have codes on. It's as if you get desynced online when you're using codes that don't work online unless both people have them.

Finally, replays only store button input and RNG (Random Number Generator, which is for the item spawns if any) everything else is handled by the disc. So, when have codes on, the disc is loading those memory changes into the replay when you watch it and thusly, it is screwed up if the replay originally did not have codes on.

There is no way to fix this unless the codes were permanent, which wouldn't be such a good idea.

I have an issue with the texture swap.
The newest one lets you swap character textures rather than player ones but it continuously freezes up before the game even loads. Can someone please post the character ID's for the character texture swap? i think it may be an issue with my ID's.

Is it me, or is this thread dying? I was planning on posting a few new codes, but...:ohwell:
Why do you say that? Threads like these never die unless the world is struck by a thunder that completely destroys hacking devices around the world.

Thunder, if you use the ocarina code creator, it creates a folder in the right place and saves it there.

Also, in the first post, Meleemaster, can you edit it so there are multiple code-boxes sorted by various things. It wouldn't be any more unwieldy than the original.

Breaking News

There has been confirmation that controlling Boss Characters is in fact possible.

Y.S., the supposedly GOD of Japanese Brawl Hacking, has created codes that have been reported to work, but like stated, only in the Japan version of Brawl. Ports of these codes have not yet been announced.

However, keep in mind that those codes only control bosses in Boss Battle Modes, and it is impossible to play as them outside their stages/modes (no multiplayer, vs,online, etc).

Phantom Wings
(a great hacker) is waiting for permission from Y.S. to port these codes. Keep your fingers crossed, as this will make history in Brawl Hacking.

EDIT: After researching a bit more, this is what Y.S. said:
"...By the way, I saw many people requesting Bosses as playable characters,
which is not possible due to the way this game is created.

However, the idea of controlling Bosses wouldn't let go of me (control freak, perhaps?)
so I made the following codes..."
I didn't want to post the codes because I'm not sure whether Y.S. wants those codes circulated or not. I'll keep a lookout for any updates.

whatcha want it sorted by?

(and i haven't updated the new codes recently cause i've been doing other stuff. i don't even have most of the codes mysef, and when i get the chance, it will be very difficult to get code sources, unless i start from scratch again, which i just might have to)
