sigh, scud probably can't go to the smashfest on the 22nd.

but yeah, kos-mos, i'll be in a crew with you, rasta, and whoever else for the 4v4.(by the way, we should make it 5 stock like they do at "getting schooled")

but, i have no doubles partner if scud can't go. so in case that happens, i'll need another doubles partner, or else i guess i won't enter that event. hrmm :\

vegafuse, can you pm me the address, too? i can't find the original post(holy crap there's been like 20 pages since then). and, is there an official time of how long we'll have the place rented out?

Oh yeah, I keep forgetting about the themesong. I'm going to go with something mainstream, so for now, my choice is Kryptonite by 3doorsdown. I didn't really gave it any thought, but I'll hold on to this song until I come across something better for the part. It's not like I don't care, it's just that I don't want to go through all the trouble of finding the perfect song...................... my mind would asplode.

yeah, i was talking about an intro song, el diablo, not for my video. if you find it and host it, put it under "intro", and anyone else who has ideas for an intro song can put it there, too.

edit: yay, zinth. you're awesome, and quick at what you do. i reloaded the page randomly and BAM! two songs for a possible intro were up.

-edit- unfortunately its still not right.... tokyo jihen has a space in it, and is the artist, while shuruba is the name of the song, i guess im just anal bout this stuff. and kettobase is spelled that way(you put an extra a).

and shades stuff is the only stuff not in mp3, specifically shuruba, asterisk, and kettobase.

i have mp3s of shuruba and kettobase, and can convert asterisk. it just gets to me thats its not all the same, for some reason. hope im ot too much trouble

Reno - I found El Diablo and added it under the "Intro" section. I also added a song of my own there.

Edit: You might as well send me the MP3 versions. The WMA format bothered me as well. I mean, what the hell, what is this not-MP3 crap?

yep, this song(one-armed scissor) is the intro for the westcoast in the midwest v. west crew battle, though :\
or, maybe east v. west. either way, it's used in one of bach's vids, and i'd hate for everyone to think that that's why we're using it.

It was East vs. West. I guess it is better to not risk the "omg u posers" variable

Good news, after dosing up on some tylenol I played smash today, after about ten minutes it goes numb lol.

For my theme song, I would probably want either Purple Haze by Jimi Hendrix, Superbeast by Rob Zombie, or Enter Sandman by Metallica. Please give your input on which one you think that I should choose.

i was whatting at the fact that i had spent like 5 posts just spouting off about how the music wasnt perfectly tagged there, and supplying all the necesarry information.

it just seemed like something that needed doing, i guess.

anyway, rasta is back(i think). so ill sum it up for you. some guys want the tourny on 29th, others on 22nd. couldnt decide cuz its up to you, and didnt know if you reserved it or anything. and all this song talk, is the song we want for a state combo vid. but yeah im actually not sure if more people want it on the 22nd or 29th, but otheres probably do.

scud can't do 22nd, kos-mos can't do 29th. so one of our good players is out either way

OOSers are broken too. kansas planned for 22nd, and dallas/fort worth want 29th, along with houston, since they wanted to come for a smashfest, not a tourny.
so, OOser picking is Kansas or Texas, and either date we pick, 1 good OK smasher is left out. blah, rasta, work your magic.

edit: pay$, i was going to see if shanx had a partner or not, because i hear doc/cfalc works pretty well. if he does though, i might partner with you, if you want to. scud plays falco, too, so it won't be a hard transition. but i'll only team with you if you stop spamming the thread, punk

tis a sad sad day for samus players(actually its been sad for a long time, but i just know realized it). the highest ranked samus user is 18th. 18th~! omg! it us up from twenty though, so thats good.
within the top eight are two marths and 3 foxes. there needs to be more variety! marth and fox are boring, even though fox is my second, theyre still boring!

and yeah stop spamming the thread, or well have to call up a mod. ooh, intimidated now. actually i doubt they even check this anymore...(and with my luck, they do, and will do something to prove it)

Fastliketree is a player from Austin, Texas. He has become very good, very fast. At WTYM2 he placed below Rob$ and Caveman, but now he's been placing above them in major tournies.

I think we should just vote on the intro if need be. Right now Reno's song is looking the best.
