pikachus 0-death = a lot of pre-requisites, you dont mess up
ICs 0-death = one pre-req, not quite as hard to mess up

My point was mostly that his saying "BUT IT'S BROKEN BECAUSE IT'S AUTO-DEATH IF YOU DO IT RIGHT!!!!" was a silly argument.

Also, if you read their SDI correctly, the uair > footstool > death combo is about the same difficulty as the ICs CGs, or so I hear from people who play both characters. It's not too hard to do, it's just a matter of reading your opponent fast enough and not messing up the QAL part.

I wasn't comparing Pika to ICs in terms of the characters. I was saying that saying auto-death = broken is a poor argument, which is the point you made in your post.

The rest of my post had nothing to do with my first sentence. L2read and stop being so young if you're going to try to debate with some sort of intelligence.

Cmon guys, Ice Climbers have tons of offstage options, a lot of range, win/go even in all matchups, and have many good counterpick stages whereas Meta just has a situational infinite where you can camp him so you don't get grabbed. ICs are obviously better

Last time I checked, the Ice Climbers had infinites in Melee and, outside of Wobbling, which isn't even banned in some areas, nobody's had a problem with them.

I was previously under the impression that the Melee community was on the childish side, always bashing Brawl, which they have every right to do, just do it with some respect. After seeing some of the past posts, I see that there are people that make the Brawl community look just as bad, if not worse, mainly Inui. Though he's often ignored, Flizz does make a valid point. And the points you people make to dismiss arguments? Not being a top player in the nation? Just because someone doesn't do well doesn't mean they don't know what they're talking about. I do better in tournaments than KayLo does, but she probably knows more about the game than I do. I learned from her that Dedede has a 27 frame spot dodge. She taught me something about MY OWN CHARACTER.

If only the top player's opinions mattered, EVERYONE on the face of this earth would play MK, except Ally.
