Oh, wow. I know nothing of PA's geography, so that explains a lot. Pretty gay how both tournaments ended up with a low turnout.

u have no idea the drama that has gone through this thread, it really is quite epic. iv actually gone through and re-read everything at one point, about a year or so of posts. ToS drama has existed since before montage was created. the era of shakugan and toushi.... woooooowwwwww

its also cool seeing the evolution of members. when the crew thread was started we were practically nobodies that had only attended like one or two tournies.

Okay so Chibo has finally moved out, and I don't know if you guys realize it yet, but this actually puts a big damper on our state.
Chibo had a house were we could go and just play when times were either, necessary, or we just needed somewhere to go and play. I know some people who just went to his house and ended up smashing without letting him know first. BUT that house is gone now and this could possible make it so that we don't meet up and play anymore.
Well something has to happen about this or we're going to fall behind as a state EVEN FURTHER than we're behind now...
So here's a couple options.
1) We still have the game room, it's open everyday but weekends until 9 o'clock and then we have to leave. Honestly this is most likely the easiest one because it's not that far from Chibo's OR 30th street station where people usually come from.
2) ...MY house. i don't know exactly how this will work out because my house is still under furnished(haven't gotten tax returns yet) but my house can stay open until 12 O' clock, from 4:30 - 4:45, and then everybody has to get out. But be warned this is about an hour walk from Chibo's or a short bus/bike/car ride. I have 2 Tv's and no recording equipment but it will due I guess. We really can't be too choosy right now.
3) Xzax has told me that we may be able to use his house every once in a while to re hold xzax fests, and not the 10 people tournies but just regular smash fests. This is about a 45 minute train ride from 30th st station and is an hour walk from there or a short car ride.
There could be an option 4 but as of right now what it could be is uncertain. My house is open a lot of the time so this is the only place that I know for certain that we could hold things frequently. obviously smashfests are going to have to be scaled back a bit, but we need some place to still have them. Smashfests in my opinion should be held when necessary, like in situations where someone has a tourney coming up soon and they want some experience to get themselves ready.
I would like those who come to smashfests sometimes, to vote on which option they would like best. But this doesn't mean the winner of this will always be the chosen venue, say Xzax wins. there still may be a time when people would like to come to my house, or the game room over this.
Just trying to get us organized, without us having to be un organized and start falling apart :]
