I know this is kinda random but that guy wit the spears was the best org 13 member. Like in the game he would beat you *** like crazy and if it was not for the kind king (mickey) then that would of been soras death
Xaldin? He was good.

My favorite's still Axel, though. Or Demyx. Roxas was aight. Larxene was also funny because she's an evil ***** like me.

Here.
I'm disappointed in myself. I could have done so much better. I don't even want to call tired johns. The first day I played well, even took a game of Keitaro. Sunday, I played like butt.

But you almost beat Chu Dat.

So what, no one's gonna remember that. Besides, he practically three stocked me in that pathetic crew battle we were in.

If I sound depressed, well, maybe I am a little. I just gotta do something about it.

I got 2nd seed in my pool but had to leave before final bracket which sucks cuz i was ready to **** in the final bracket.

Also i think I set a ToS record for most MM's won in one tourney lol with 11.

The seeding was terrible, absolutely horrible. I'm sorry to say such harsh things, but it was.

The tourney had free pre reg, so a bunch of ppl signed up. Hell, some of them might have even did fake sign ups. Extra signups were done the day of for people who didn't pre reg. There was a bunch of ppl who pre reg'd that didn't show up. Only prob is, that they were left in the pools and not taken out when we learned that they didn't show up. This not only shows that Apex had less people than they said entered singles (and payouts will prove this).

Because of all the people that didn't show up, pools became extremely imbalanced, but amount wise and skill wise. There were some pools that only had 4 players, and others with 8 or 9. Pools were done in two phases, so when there was a problem in the later set, none of the earlier pools could be changed. Inui was looking for a pool to put Malcom in because his was too hard. He asked me about a player called Allin in my pool, probably around a bottom or next to bottom seed. He didn't show up (one of the pre regs who didn't come) and Malcom was thrown in over him. Wtf, that's quite a skill jump. I went to find Alex Strife bout it as soon as it happened, but I couldn't find him for like an hour. By the time I finally saw him, Malcom had already played like 2 sets so I just dropped it. In the end it turns out that I tied for 3rd with Okin. I beat Okin in pools. Our set record was the same. Our win record was the same. But I had a single loss more than him -_-
So if I didn't get IC infinited 2 or 3 times in my 2nd match vs Holy Chef (one of which was caused by a trip! yay!) or if Malcom wasn't in my pool as originally intended, I would have gotten 2nd.

Then I just found out that in Rush's pool, Alex Strife let the 4th seed there into brackets because Rush wasn't going to be there day 2. Malcom from my pool wasn't going to be there day 2, but he was still put into brackets and became a bye, instead of letting me go on in. It turns out Malcom knew he couldn't be there day 2 and wasn't going to enter singles, but he was convinced to enter.

Seeding was further messed up for bracket, this I don't know why. For 96 people it's a very simple formula that really shouldn't be messed up. 2nd seed plays 3rd seed, winner plays 1st seed who got a bye. Simple as that. I heard of some 2nd seeds having to play other 2nd seeds first round, which I know happened to Pyronic~Star screwing him over giving him a tougher first match than he should have had and lost early. This also means two 3rd seeds out there played each other, giving them easier matches than they should have had.

As for Xzax outplacing Vex, guess who Xzax at some point had to play in bracket - Malcom. Yup, the person who wasn't there day 2 that got me screwed out of being promoted to brackets (not his fault though) and was a bye in the bracket instead of letting 4th seed be promoted. (I personally don't believe 4th seed should be promoted, but since it happened to other pools, it should have been done across the board, or it be done regardless with all of the seeding problems).

There was also some problems with doubles because Afro and Seibrik were accidentally not entered into the bracket, and put in right near me and Rogue Pit which messed up our seeding, and caused us to have to wait about 3 hours for our first match in losers after loosing round 3 in winners. Though I don't want to really comment on this until I see the bracket.

Sorry for ranting, but that's how it went down.

It wouldn't really be fair to say all this negative stuff without saying how some of the great parts. This ran fast. Despite the problems with pools and bracket (and perhaps not really dealing with all of them) it ran so fast, ahead of schedule. It completely nullified all of the metrics calculations we did for the tournament. I thought the venue was pretty small, but it made up for it the fact that it was at a hotel we could stay at, and there was free breakfast with a make your own breakfast sandwhich station - too good. There was also a good amount of setups. About the same as CoT4 (I think a couple more), but for a lil over half the people that was at CoT4 made for a much better ratio. It was fairly easy to find a setup to play a match soon when you wanted. The livestream area was set up nice, though I would wish more tourneys used projectors so you don't have like 100 people trying to watch a single SD TV lol.

Sounds like someone is mad that they didn't make it out of pools and that APEX was a million times better than their own event.

The "seeding problem" in doubles occured because D1 or someone else forgot to enter Afro and Seibrik. I'm no longer going to let brackets start without checking them personally.

As far as pools go, we can't be blamed for people not showing up. No pools were as big as 9, but they did indeed range from 4 to 8. Want to know why? In some pools, all 8 players that paid and signed up actually showed up. In a lot of the pools, people actually paid and signed up, and then either didn't show up or left and DQed themselves after just a few matches, which cut the numbers of those pools. Such things are beyond TO control.

i put the link in my sig because so many ppl have been asking me why i didnt make it out of pools and its getting boring saying the same story over and over, so i have it there to reference.

i dont care that the event ran better. im glad it did. i want any tourney to be a success. i also helped a lot with apex so i feel that i contributed to some of it.

its just really annoying when some 4th seeds made it into the bracket when i (who tied for 3rd, not even getting 4th) didn't make it in especially when the 2nd seed from my pool was absent day 2, and the fact that my pool was MUCH harder than most other pools

Xigbar!!! F it, the whole Organization was the ****. (Except for Luxord -- card dude -- and Lexaeus, the strong dude no one cares about.)
Luxord is horrible but he is nomrura's fav member. How the hell does your fav member have the least screen time out of all of them??

And lexaeus just had no personalty. But he as one of the best weapons (Marluxia has thebest weapon though)

Larxene is still the best. Anyone who pimp slaps a 14 yr old kid right in front of the person who cares for her and then laughs is my kind of girl! lol

Anyway about apex. It was def the best tournament i went to. But once again i got gagged out of pools. 1st it was cot4 with that dumb *** rainbow cruise match. This time it's on brinstar. Im falling towards the edge to grab it AND IT JUST DONT GRAB. I didn't air dodge or nothing i went right through the ledge and floated to my death. I HAD THE MATCH. Ask anyone who seen it. I was only at like 30% and Yoshididdy was at like 80% Last stock. I am so mad i keep getting gayed on gay stages lol. O well no johns.

I did win like 10$ in mm with peach. Also ivysaur in brawl+ is beyond broken

One thing though. How the hell did rogue not get to brackets? Who was in his pool?

Anyway apex was worth it just to see Ally beat M2K. DID YOU SEE THAT TECH?

Chibo, you shouldn't have the post complaining about Apex in your sig if you were so upset about people **** talking your tournament. Your seeding wasn't great either (me and Pierce in the same pool when he lives 10 minutes from me, what the hell?)...I don't mind your opinion of the tournament, but please don't advertise it. Everyone else enjoyed it, for the most part.

Placings don't matter at a tournament that hard. Having IcyLight and D1 back to back is ridiculous. I SDed against Icy and got clawed against D1, but no johns.

Chibo I honestly told everyone at the tournament that I was leaving day 2 and I was playing singles pools because no one would let me play friendlies. Infact Okin told me that he wasnt going to make it in if they counted my pools matches and that he would be the fourth seed, so I told him to have me DQ'd from the pool so that he could stay in brackets. I honestly didnt mean to mess up your pool and thought that I was DQ'd from it to let okin into brackets. I was VERY confused to hear my name announced the next day right before I left for a bracket match. Someone messed up, but it wasn't me.

What the hell. Who made Steel a moderator? Making Steel a moderator is like letting a monkey fly a plane lol.
That image made me lol.

I hate Mother's Day. Wish I could've gone, heard the tourney was so so fun. :( I wasn't even home to watch singles on livestream.... saw some of doubles, though, and heard all about Ally vs. M2K.
