Actually an ally clan would be good too IMO. We could ask the mario clan anytime to do some team wifi against other clans. 2 sonic in team won't be good due to the lack of KO moves. A great sonic partner would be Ike/Snake/DDD/anyone that can kill. I haven't tested mario while I played so I can't tell if has better killing abilities than sonic (not hard to beat but still)

The clan alliance name could be The superstars (considering they are both well known mascotts)

I think Damax has a point. But, so does Repryx. Why not make it a friendly rivalry that also teams up against other clans? Sonic and Mario on a team is unstoppable. At least, I believe it would be. This is just my two cents, however. Besides, I'm not in either group. But, I think it would be awesome.

Finally a good shot of Tails cameo, Silver and Knuckles are harder to see but like Sakurai said he loves them so much (via the Smash update)

I don't know, I know I may be half and half on the Mario ally. But IMO, alliences between more then 2 character groups are too overrated for Smashboards :/. I don't mean to be offencesive to those that started on Brawl Central, but still. Anyway, I'm not the one who makes ALL the decisions. Other major members get decisions as well.

Anyway, I like the Blue character thing But No Zero Suit Samus. She Only wears Blue.

Meta Knight,
Ike,
Marth, (THEIR HAIR IS BLUE..it comes from their body)
Blue Yoshi, (and only Blue Yoshi)


But for an Alliance, Id choose:
Sonic,
Falco,
Lucario,
MetaKnight,
Ike,

That settles alot of different kinda of fighters. (Screw the Heavy Weight DeDeDe)

And IsmaR, Sorry but I guess you wont be able to challenge me to the Ridly Vs Sonic fight, Sonic already won! (I dont mean that to flame any Ridley fans, other then her, XD no hard feelings right?)
But I will be looking forword to our DeDeDe vs Sonic, Shiek vs Sonic and Mario vs Sonic, IsmaR. I havnt forgotten, your still going down.

Super Speed + Super Stealth = PWNAGE

And SiegK's suggestion list makes me think of grouping things.

The Blue Creature Triad = Sonic, Lucario, Falco
The Blue Knights = MetaKnight, Ike, Marth

And I friggin love Dedede XD but I think that'll be too many blue chars as is.
