I will say it now; I didn't care too much for Sonic for being in Brawl. I like Sonic. I think he needs to be in a better game than what he's gotten recently. Since I heard about Mario and Sonic, it lowered the chances of him showing up in Brawl, it really wouldn't effect me either way.

But now that it's confirmed that Mario and Sonic will suck unendingly, I really hope he makes it to Brawl. It might save his ***** hide from sh***y games.

How do you know M&SatOG will suck? Are you a reviewer from the future or something? How can you know it sucks when it isalmost 2 months before it's release?

Maybe it's because that it's Sega that is developing it. But Miyamoto is supervising it, i wouldn't think Miyamoto would want his Main creation to be in a suckfest do you?

And also, the Olympic game doesn't really Decrease chances. Some if it actually INCREASES it. Like Sega had to call nintendo to use them right? Sonic could be in because Nintendo could have said: "We'll let you use Mario and the cast, on one condition" and they say to allow them to use Sonic in Brawl. And not all recent games have sucked. Sonic Rush, and most of the other portable sonics got great reviews. And SatSR is the only 3D sonic game to haven't had the critical issues as the other ones.

(Oh and another thought, M&SatOG beat Super Mario Galaxy at a game convention in Leipzig, Germany. Does that sound like suckfest to you?)

Says who? I've seen a gameplay video, and it looks pretty fun to me.

Of course, that may be the inner Sonic nut talking.

I didn't bother too read through all 500+ pages just to see if this was already written in here, so I'm sorry if it was.
However, would it be possible for Sakurai to have decided to implement Sonic and all of his companions (at least from the Advanced series) into one character, with a partnering scheme? You know, like, a character follows behind Sonic the entire time, and perhaps changes his special moves while aiding him generally in other ways? Sonic could switch between the characters with a special move...
And, in this way, a majority of the fans, especially fans of other characters, would be pleased.

We've seen variations of this already, within Ice Climbers (more than one character at once) and Pokemon Trainer (3 different characters in one). Although, I suppose that there may be too many characters and variables to program into the game as it is... *sigh*

We prefer Sonic Alone. It's his style to run, sleep, eat, and Brawl Alone. (Except he does need his friends mostly when a big crisis is happening. Otherwise, he uses his cocky attitude that we all know and love to beat the bad guys.

I'd prefer Sonic alone too. I wouldn't mind if the Final Smash involved the others though.

Sonic would perfer sonic looking like Shadow as a different color costume thing. Would be great to make your own colored Character. But thats in my dreams were Sonic & Mario hold hands and skip through a field of flowers. (kinda like the old Super Smash Bros commercial was like.)

hmm... im not compleatly aginst the sonic advance idea infact it sounds pretty cool! but it sounds like most pepole in this thred are aginst it and it sounds VERY hard to implament so i guess he'll remain a stand alone.

Lol. Yeah, what a saturday. I just woke up, smashed with my 2 friends and came onine. haha. (they live at my house on the weekends. rofl) Though I did stay up till 6:48 working on the comic, so i guess thats saturday, too.

And No, SiD, you havnt missed any, Ive been on Halo 3 also and this hell taken Comic. So I havnt been on the boards much either this past week.

The blue hedgehog is once again chasing the light, the light that will bring him into the legendary smash legends. Running for days, he got a little tired. But confidence from his supporters and his life actions teaching him to never give up keeps him running. In fact he uses both to make him chase it faster... Although starting to lose stamina, he gets a grin in his face. He notices that the light is running out too, and that just gives him the energy to say "This isn't over Yet"...

For those of you who don't know what this is about. This is a continuation to a story i started on my 500th post and my 550th post. Though SiD will know about it once he comes along. And this is also pretty short compared to the earlier 2.

And by the way... 700th post FTW! Only 300 more until 1,000

There are probably hundreds of these on here but here's a moveset :


B : Spindash - he charges spinning energy and then when you let go of it he spindashes and you have
much more control compared to Jigglypuffs rollout.

<-> B : Homing Attack - he homes in on the nearest enemy , jumps , and curls into a ball for a homing hit!
You can't do the attack over and over though unless there are multiple people
around , that'd be unfair.

Up B : Bounce Spindash - he curls into a ball and bounces upward and you can chose what direction or
angle of his jump

Down B : Sonic Wind - he creates a small blue tornado to surround him that also reaches upward some

FINAL SMASH : Super Sonic - Sonic turns into super sonic , he becomes faster , stronger(duh) , and gains
a new moveset :

B : Superdash - He dashes forward like in Sonic Rush

<-> : same

up B - levitation - he gains the abilty to levatae around while attacking , like midair levatation

Down B : Super Sonic Wind - He releases a larger , more powerful , and yellow Sonic Wind that goes higher
up

Shadow the Hedgehog had bad camera, horrible controls, and terrible lag... although this is in multiplayer mode, on the PS2 version... got sick of it within minutes.

In other news, I dreamed that freaking Crash Bandicoot was in Brawl, ALMOST a Falcon clone, while he only had one of Falcon's B-moves, and it was his recovery move... yeah, okay...

I played Shadow the Hedgehog. It was alright as a standalone game, (Especially seeing as I got it for free ), but as a game in the Sonic Series, it just didn't live up to standards.

, how do you think he will look? Sure they're going to tweak him to give him that "kickass fighter" look, but what do you think they'll base it off of? He has been given a lot of different looks recently.

Will they give him a badass version of his "SatSR" look? (Sonic's only semi-successful next-gen game)
Will they give him a badass version of his "Sonic '06" look? (Sonic's best looking appearance yet)
Will they give him a badass version of his "M&SatOG" look? (Sonic's latest game before Brawl, the beginning of the end to Mario and Sonic's rivalry, and the most anticipated/controversial crossover game possibly EVER)
