the ARK is Shadow's stage for the millionth time, i know its a great stage but the fact is that sonic will be a classic stage and yes probably it will be GreenHill.
Shadow is highly unlikely to even make an appearance as a playable character. The Sonic franchise will most likely only get 1 rep. if it does receive another rep it'll most likely be Knuckles/Tails, not Shadow.

Sonic could easily be given the ARK as a stage.

i know that but its just not right, in a sonic forum or fan club it would cause such an uproar its insane. Remember who was born and raised on the ARK, who has the story with the ARK and finally who actually controls the ARK. Not sonic but Shadow! I know that shadow's are slim but still...

Wow, you just described Scourge the Hedgehog from the comics...

Anyway, I still think it's going to be a Sonic Adventure 2 stage, just listen to the music played in his video. It's the main theme from Sonic Adventure 2 so the only logical choice (now that that song has been played) is to pick a stage from SA2.
That's similar to the argument that since there's music called Ridely Boss Battle music, Ridely must be a boss. That's just music from the game that sounds good so they put it in. It doesn't prevent anything else from happening or not happening.

agreed, and plus Sonic's alt costume is already Shadow alike.
I can see Sonic's stage being the ARK since I think his series will represent SA2B and hearing Live and Learn.
Or Green Hills will work too.

Sonic's alt color doesn't look like Shadow. It's simply a very dark Blue.

Personally, I'd prefer if we got a more classic stage like Green Hill Zone. If we wanted something crazy there's still a bunch of levels to choose from in the classic Sonic games (Chemical Plant zone comes to mind).

to help you all, SEGA are releasing a SEGA allstars Tennis game featuring Sonic, Nights, AIAI, etc and one of the tennis stages is Green Hill

Though i may seem off topic the image shows Green Hill in a new 3D, clean version of it (better than the SA2B version).

I reli like that green hill design from that tennis game. Maybe add some hazards like eggman's robots or something. That would be good enough for me.

Due to live and Learn being played during Sonic's introduction to brawl, I expect the ARK.

I see Green Hill Zone as being one of the side scrolling levels in SSE instead of a stage.
Glad to see I'm not the only one that thinks that.

Sorry, but I'm very anti-Green Hill.

I like the idea of the ARK, but I think a retro stage would work well too.

The area where you fight Robotnik/Eggman at the end of the first chapter in the third game (the platform at the waterfall) would make a good level with very little modification.

Moving levels seem to be the thing now, so really there are a ton of options. I mean you could even start out at above, be forced to the right and fall down, playing at some part in the underwater zone, then be forced to the right and then a waterfall shoots up underneith you sending you to the grassy area, and then be forced on into the casino, etc.

omg i played sonic 3 and that has to be the best idea for a sonic stage yet
and then it would be cool if they also showed knuckles pressing that button which destroys teh bridge on that waterfall

i could see two stages

one classic style sonic stage

and then a more modern style like a city or space

though they may end up using space for mario you never know

You know that Live and Learn was used in the enterance video, who said it would be the stage music? Shadow Moses Island doesn't have the theme from Snake's enterance video does it... so we can't reply on the music.

Well then why was Live and Learn used in his video, rather then the Green Hill theme or something along those lines?
Because there is four songs per stage and that is one of them. That song suits Sonic well so they put it in. They can have songs from games that don't go with that level. Like what they did with Super Mario Sunshine:

This stage only has one song that goes with his stage.

ah but look carefully, the arrows up and down appear show that you have more options for music. and its MY MUSIC area so it might not be as likely as you think

Ahh, never noticed that. Still, they just put music that fits the stage and if it happens to be from a different game, so be it. By the way, outlandish as it may seem, what if there was... wait for it... TWO Sonic levels!

Personally, I'd love to see a Death Egg level.

Green Hill Zone is a given.

Something else that would be cool is a Station Square level that starts out normal, then gets flooded and attacked by Perfect Chaos, who acts as a stage hazard.

Well, it's different from my idea of station Square, I like it.

I've never played Sonic CD so I can't say about the Death Egg.

But the Station Square would have to start with being damaged. Maybe it's already flooded and Perfect Chaos is still a stage hazard.

well that is kinda like the ARK idea with the bio lizard as a stage hazard with his energy balls, which he used against shadow.

well i was thinking maybe a stage that has the same characteristics as say Rainbow cruise from SSBM, in a sense that as the stage is progressing (Any sonic level will do), it forces you to move either left or right, or die, and also there will be moments when your forced to Sprint, giving you the sense as if your really in a sonic game. I dunno just a thought.

The sonic stage should take place at Sega Carnival, so we may have lots of juicy cameos in the background! (NiGHTS, Samba de Amigo, Billy Hatcher...)

I would personally like a Chemical Plant based stage from Sonic 2. It's really just a pipe-dream though. ;D
