Ok, so, not long ago, Achilles gave me a tip that there were some images hiding in the DOL. They don't have any traditional structuring that they're attached to (lacking even image data headers), so they've previously gone under the radar in DTW (as with some others I know about and still need to look into). But yesterday I added a special function just for them! And I realized this is pretty awesome, because there's a lot that can be done with these, and there are a ton of characters. On the Hiragana and Katakana pages, you can click on a character to pop-up a menu revealing 4 more (as shown below). You could add different fonts, more/different languages, random icons of all sorts, character insignias, emoticons, or full-on combined images!

Anyways, support for these textures in the DOL will be in the next program update! As a side note, I'm also feeling pretty good about finally giving mipmaps a go, considering the last thing I posted about them, which IMO was huge. But I'll just have to see when I can sit down with the time, since there are some other things I'd like to get to too.



The latest version of DAT Texture Wizard shows file descriptions for 20XX's stages. (Sorry to you other guys, I don't have a Mac to test on.)

so how does CCC work? If I have a blue skin, but I want it on a red skin I can change it there? One more thing, can somebody link me how to edit skins on DTW (DAT Texture Wizard) cause I want to make a Great Saiyaman skin for Falcon

To use the Character Color Converter:

"Step 1": load the file you want to convert to another color (the one that has the textures you want).

"Step 2": load a file of the color that you want to convert to (needs to be the same character).

"Step 3": click the convert button.

The files you choose for Step 1 or Step 2 can be in an ISO already or just files by themselves (already extracted from an ISO). To use/load from an ISO, go to the Disc File Tree, then you can right-click on a file to load it for Step 1 or Step 2 (i.e. "Set as CCC [Source | Destination] File" options).

Note that the file you load in Step 2 will have its textures overwritten, so make sure to save a copy of it if you might still want it later.

Made a few more (although they're just color edits... hahahaha I really need to do some original ones). These first two are just because I wanted to see Marth with a lighter blue than the dark navy blue I used with dark blue Marth. Turned out pretty well.

Also for any confusion on the name: I renamed the darker versions "Dark Blue Marth" so I could call this version "True Blue Marth" since it's more in the middle of dark blue and light blue, you know?

And I also "made" (read as: edited) some Fox costumes. I loved the ZeroVirus Fox, but if you haven't noticed by now, I love blue. I decided to edit my own, and then while I was at it, I did black and green too.

I tried replacing that one but the file stays the same, and once again, can somebody link me how to edit textures on DTW (DAT Texture Wizard) I want to make a skin

When's the next time the first page is going to be updated?
I know at the beginning of the main post it says that it'll be updated whenever good textures come out, but it's been a while and I've seen some really nice skins...
