I'm trying to change the texture of marths cape but I can't find the png that corresponds to where the logo would reside? Also are there two textures that are used for the cape (texture 46 and 47)?
Are you referring to the textures numbered in melee toolkit or steelia's texture collection? If toolkit, check steelia's stuff in the first post (Labeled as original skins)

I am using the steelia as reference and the melee toolkit in order to insert my custom modified pngs into the DAT files and saving it to the I so. But my problem is that I can't find the location of the cape logo within melee toolkit to replace it with my modified PNG. Also the fact that there seems to be two different cape pngs that seem to be identical (46 and 47) is confusing me a bit, is the logo just invisible and residing on one of the 2 cape textures or is it located somewhere else that I can't find?

Toolkit doesn't show every texture for some characters. Use the placements file in Steelia's downloads pack and then the DAT Texture Wizard.

i was watching a mang0 vs lucky gif. and i saw lucky have a red illusion with fox....anyway to get that?
I have a folder full of custom effects, let me upload it.
It contains the texture you're looking for.

Two requests:

1. Could somebody possibly make a Pokemon Stadium texture with this logo in the middle?

If it's not too much trouble, could someone please up the resolution a little bit and make it big enough to fit while editing it in? I'm not really photoshop-savvy.

2. I don't know if this is possible, but I'd like a version of Falco's neutral color with only the boots changed to the color of C. Falcon's boots. If you ("you" meaning whoever) do make it, could you pleeeeaaase post a pic along with the link?

Well he would need to load an ISO from a SD/USB. But since you can load 20XX from these supports it doesn't make any sense. I'll upload the missing textures later this day, I have the Super Falcon and some others.

Alright say I have 20XX mode loaded via USB or SD Card. Now is it possible to install these textures?
Simple, export the ISO's root with GCR and then replace the files with the textures you downloaded. Then Rebuild.

I suggest putting the 20XX replacement files first, then the textures.

What I wanna do is change the Fixed Stadium to a blue one (because on the SSC it appears blue but is green in fact.

Static PS is blue tho.

Make sure you're using ISO instead of FST.

Excuse me, what's FST ? Is it a file extension ? If so, then no I am not using it.
I can't explain why it is green on my iso. Like the Red alternative costume for Falcon not working.

I think you can remove the HUD with 20XX, as for the characters, well...

DRGN, those wireframe character select icons look awesome. On the topic of that, can you take a look into this guy's stuff and see whats actually usable? This CSS is beautiful....

I don't think so, at least not yet. For anyone who wants to try, here's the files:

They might need to be down-scaled, but I think they should be usable. As DRGN said in his post, the artist only finished a few other CSPs than the ones present on the preview pic so the CSS isn't 'complete'. Said artist did finish all of the neutral colors for each character, plus some bonuses (See below). You could probably make a nice-looking CSS without the extra CSPs since every character does have a mugshot/icon.

I tried to do this, but once I put all of the character select icons in, the game would freeze on the CSS. I don't really know much as far as debugging issues with melee hacking, but I made a post about what was going wrong a couple of pages back, so maybe if we're lucky, someone with more knowledge on the subject will be able to help get it working. I have a feeling that what the problem comes down to is that the files I'm putting in are slightly larger than the ones they are replacing, and there's not enough space in the file to hold all the new ones, but that's largely conjecture.

So as I promised, here's the missing textures (or at least some) I have. Some of them are duplicates of existing textures on the first post for OTHER colors. For example, the OoT Ganon on the OP goes for the NEUTRAL color of Ganon, mine goes for the RED color. You get the idea and more choice.

You don't have to export and rebuild every time. Just find the file you want to replace in GCR's file tree and then right click it and choose import.

Fixed Stadium uses Japanese Stadium file, GrPs.dat. However your SD/USB loader forces the English file extension (.usd). So it's loading GrPs.usd for you, so it will always be the same as regular Stadium. Don't worry, it will be fixed in 4.0.

Get 20XX 3.03 (search the 20XX thread). It has player flags, so you can make players invisible and super tiny. I did a couple SSS icons by playing as invisible tiny Pichu.

Been working on some textures using both the toolkit as well as the DAT texture wizard, and I noticed that the melee toolkit causes some pretty severe degradation to the image files when they are converted and placed into the DAT files. The DAT texture wizard seems to have a small amount of degradation by making things more blurry, but with less artifacts/incorrect colors. I recommend anyone making any texture modifications beyond hue/vibrance changes to use the DAT texture wizard instead of the melee toolkit.

"Alt" Pokemon Stadium is GrPs.dat. It works for some people but not everyone; still not sure why.

For what I've read, apparently the loader is the issue.
DIOS-MIOS won't load the right color for example, but Nintendon't will.

Edit - Didn't you say that your X/Y camera movement with the C-stick code will not work on consoles?

It's more specific than just DM because Achilles uses DML and so do I and he gets blue and I get green. :/ Same SD card too except mine is bigger.

Interesting. Could it have something to do with the versions of DIOS-MIOS?
If I recall there was a new version that was released. Maybe one of you isn't up to date. (Just throwing out ideas at this point, I have no idea why then.)

Edit - Didn't you say that your X/Y camera movement with the C-stick code will not work on consoles?
I use Dios Mios Lite and blue pokemon stadium works. That's why it was released that way - because I never knew it would be a problem.

The c-stick code freezes on console but works fine in Dolphin.
