i have a quick question, how do u guys put your videos on youtube? i'm trying to but i think the video is to big. how would i go about shrinking it? i have some vids that i want u guys to see of my ddd...

I'm going to a brawl tourney this saturday and I'm mostly gonna main DDD. which character seems to be his counter? I know i saw a vid here where some1 completely owned him but I can't remember who it was and there are too many vids now for me to be able to guess.

Olimar is his worst match-up IMO... in fact, i sugest picking up meta-knight just for that match-up.

he can run away and spam DOTs on you all day. if he does this, there really is no good way to approach him.

how about ZSS? i remember there was someone where his D-air didn't send them the same direction as it does to other characters. Can't remember if it was her though...

I think one fights was on animal crossing, and the other was on Fox's stage where he got beaten really badly. might have been Pit

I like how your one of the few players that are using his jet hammer more consistently. Nice job.

it's a epic looking move how can u not use it? But on the real, i use it because it comes out faster than any of his other moves (when it's in his hands charging) but i try 2 use it before it goes into overload mode so he dosen't do that spin lag crazyness... it gets u in trouble something fierce

don't f-smash so much, geeze. lol. Stay in the air as much as possible, and f-air is hard to hit with if they're below you and even sometimes when they're at eye level

as mentioned here, my computer died... which really sucks... un many ways, one of which being, i had spend hours on a new format for the first page, orginizing vids by date added, charcter match-up, and a color-code for the top DDD players.

... so I wont be able to start up the reformating/updating process untill I get my new mac.... sorry for the delay.

but while im away, would you like the top DDD players to have some sort of title? like the wise kings? the warlords? other? my creative brain is dead right now.

yeah that's a cool idea but how would u rate the ddd players to find the top five?

i think romeo and i should be in the top five because i think were getting to ''overstand'' ddd inside and out.......i don't know any other ddd players who stand out to much, thats what i think.

I edited out the "top five" thing, because the ammount of people there will likely change.

basically if you want to be color coded, you have to do well in tournament placings. then, you have to have some unique element in your playstyle that you do excell at that we all could learn from.
thats the big thing, we gotta learn something from watching your vids.

like, "X demonstrates how to best use X tatic for an aggressive DDD"
or, "Xdemonstraes how perfect spacing can lead to amazing oppenings"
or "X is currently best at ****** the recovery of the spacies."

... stuff like that.
I will likely have to change it quite ofter and the pros and the meta-game will keep on changing... I would be verry surprised if in two years even one of the top DDD players is the same as one of the top DDD playes we have now.

also DarkHero, you do have a verry mean DDD... but all self nominations will have to be discarded, sorry

well, this is the last post ill make for a while... hopefully I can have something more premanent in a week or so.

but after watching your newer vids, id have to say you are in the top three ATM.

darkhero I left a few comments, good stuff I just have two suggestions:

1. You never use up tilt, it kills better than up smash and comes out very fast with little lag. Its great, try using it

2. Play on some other stages sometime, even if you just want to do neutrals do: Yoshis Island, Lylat Cruise or Smashville. Only battlefield and final destination gets boring

i like up tilt too, i just try to save it for when i need it but by that time i could just do something safe , but i will try to put it in my game more.

yoshi's island is one of my best stages (( maximum ownage music )) and lylat cruise is cool too. i'll start playing on other stages if thats what the people want.

but I would like to ask people to not just post matches of yourself because we can.
post a match only if you think it has something new... or if your just plain good.

we all have the game now, and i dont want everyone posting all of their matches just because they are excited to have the game and want to be on the first post.

Doesn't that defeat the purpose of posting these videos?

Some players can't and possibly won't get better unless their match videos are critiqued by fellow players.

I would like to think that that's the purpose of this thread, instead of it just being a thread for the better players to show off.

If this sounds like flaming, I apologize. That's not my intent. I'm just finding it hard to understand why people can't post matches unless they find something new or are very good players.
