Well, I'd like to see some videos of all the Jigglypuffs out there, and I'm sure you other Jiggs would, too. This thread will be an archive for all the Jiggs players plus anyone else who would like to see them.

I'll update this with mine later...you don't have to win in your matches, just post some good, quality fights.

You can add captions to your videos as well.

My crazy list of mango vids with notes of combos and whatnot (that has unfortunately fallen into the archives):

Some of my videos that have been uploaded (I'll have more recent ones eventually):
Edit: and no, I'm not great, but I'm getting better; same with the people I play against.

ya i have 4 new vids of just friendlies. advice is alwaws nice (rhyme)

http://youtube.com/user/tickytoc24
first thing that comes to mind is that you should probably get in the habit of resting after the upair rather than upair uptilt rest...that gives them much more time to DI away. or maybe you were just doing that cause they were friendlies, i dunno.

also, when you upthrow a fastfaller onto a platform, wait to see what they do before upairing. you upthrow upaired falco below a platform and he just landed on it and could move again. it generally works better if you throw them, let them tech or whatever, then upair and follow from there. an added bonus is that if you follow them and upair, a lot of people seem to not tech if they hit the platform again...so that's actually pretty reliable for a rest. i think it's just weird timing for them to tech.

or you could upthrow them and just follow them on the platform and rest. if they roll that's a lot easier, but even if not, fastfallers seem to panic once jigglypuff has upthrown them, so they might develop really predictable teching patterns in those cases.

edit: and that last stock of the most recent game was ****.

Idk if it always works. That's the first and only time I've ever done it, but it looks like it should work pretty consistently. I could check the hitboxes, but I don't feel like setting up my cube right now. Otherwise I would test it against my friend's Marth, but I don't use Jigglypuff in friendlies : /

last time i saw it happen, i did go to check the hitboxes...and i found out my frame data doesn't include getup attacks.

Do you have an AR? If not, I can check it for you. I'm quite a frame geek, lol

And about the playing Puff in friendlies... I do enjoy playing her, but my crew really hates it, lol. I also have more fun player other characters, like Falcon, Falco, Ganondorf, Marth, Fox, Sheik, etc.

i do not, and i bet anyone else reading this would like you to check too.

yeah, i guess a lot of people hate playing against her. for the most part i think people don't mind playing vs. me... that's probably cause i play jigglypuff really aggressively.

Okay, I took a look at Marth's get-up attack in debug mode. His sword swings too low to the ground for you to crouch under it, so you have to be at his center (between the two slashes). You have to hit him AFTER his second slash though, otherwise he's invincible. I may post pictures if I get my camera working. It's not as easy as I thought it was, but it should work if you know the Marth is going to do it. Either wavedash --> crouch into him or run --> crouch, then wait, and rest. CC'ing may also be viable, but more risky, and won't work at higher %'s.

Next time I'm in debug I'll check out some other characters, this seems to have some potential.

Well, if you simply wait on top of him, you'll be pushed away, and into one of his hitboxes. You'll probably still need to react in order to pull it off, but idk how hard it really is. Like I said, that's the only time I've ever done it. I'll definitely try it tomorrow at this smashfest I'm going to.

Also, if you're able to do this, you're probably also in a position to jab reset to rest (Mango comboooo), but I guess this would be more guaranteed at higher %.

Well how about doing this against a Marth's rising attack:
http://www.veoh.com/browse/videos/category/gaming/watch/v17227777CDmG7dnf#watch=v17131882TSBnyKcq

Also, a couple more vids uploaded of me:

http://www.veoh.com/browse/videos/category/technology_and_gaming/watch/v17812602Ez7SPfdM
http://www.veoh.com/browse/videos/category/technology_and_gaming/watch/v17812540B2DpS2WY
(more coming but veoh seems to be messing up - some of them are being lost after they finish uploading :S)
Edit: more up but video quality seems pretty low on a couple of them for some reason...
Edit2: When did veoh change its max fps??? It's horrible...guess I'm finally getting a youtube account...(LordWolfeye)

I'm pretty sure you can duck under the back swing of his getup attack. I do it quite often.
No, I tested this, it doesn't really work. You can crouch under certain parts of it, but most of the back swing is uncrouchable. Crouch cancel works at certain percents, but you kind of have to be closer to his center to really get underneath it.
