Music:
  • BGM siege warfare, "the theme of Fire" and the fiery "Bern superpower" (placeholder, will correct to real english)
My knowledge of the language isn't great, but with some research, I can confirm with a fair amount of certainty that this refers to the "Fire Emblem theme", and most probably "Kingdom of Bern" from Blazing Sword (FE7), which was released as just "Fire Emblem" in North America.

For specifics, this is from post number 222 from the second link in the original post.

ファイアーエムブレムのテーマ
(Fire Emblem's theme)

烈火の「大国ベルン」
Google translates this as "the fiery 'Bern Superpower,'" but the first part also corresponds to the Japanese title of "Blazing Sword," omitting the sword part. So it could be read as "Blazing's 'Kingdom of Bern.'"

Also, doing a search for this song using the Japanese title (大国ベルン) results in links to the soundtrack of FE7, and it is listed there as having a similar length to the "Kingdom of Bern" in the NA soundtrack (a minute and a half or so.)

This post (222) also mentions an "Attack" song from Blazing sword. Post number 204 in the same topic also makes reference to "Blazing Sword's battle music," which I have to assume refers to the same song. Maybe it's the "Strike" from the NA soundtrack? Also in Post 204 it seems to mention a few possible songs for Norfair.

Actually FE7 did have a track called "The kingdom of bern". It was nearly identical to the one I posted from FE6 and had the same translated name in FE6, I believe.

Isn't it more appropriate that Metagross actually uses the Meteor Mash attack? It could look like what one would call Earthquake too.
That's what I always thought. Didn't it say he stabbed the ground? Earthquake is more of a slam (think venusaur in SSBM).

Question about Kirby...I've heard about some other things that do more to make him far and away from his Melee incarnation, but I just have one question that I haven't seen answered...

Does his Final Cutter (Up+B) have any Spiking Properties again, or no?

i found another site that seems to be doing the exact same thing that is being done here, so you can take it straight from the source, or take it from a quoter of the source, i think it was mentioned a bit earlier on in the thread but here goes:

Perhaps Metagross uses Meteor Mash on the ground which is what causes the Earthquake? Because Meteor Mash is a punch in all the Pokemon games (its even called Comet Punch in Japan - too bad the name was already used on a worthless attack)...

So it Metagross uses one "arm" to "stab" the ground, then we can easily call it Meteor Mash...

It's cool to see them taking music from the GBA series... though I dont know how accurate this info is... we'll just have to wait and see...

And does this hint at GBA representaion beyond a Lyn assist?

Roy back maybe...? (it would be a kick in the face to all of us who say he isn't returning lol)

Either that, or they just have a MASSIVE library of music to choose from for all the stages... because Bern music and attack music don't really seem like themes they'd use on a stage...

I finished the list, ShortFuse ...

Here we go!

76-130: (Zelda's "Great Bay" song from Melee is selectable).

190-230: (Brinstar BGM, Samus's Theme, and the Metroid Ending Theme were selectable on Norfair), (Two songs titled "Athletic" and "Ending BGM" were selectable on the Yoshi's Island stage)
Great Bay (Melee): http://dl1.ffshrine.org/soundtracks...lee Original Sound Version/05_-_great_bay.mp3

Brinstar BGM (Melee): http://dl1.ffshrine.org/soundtracks...elee Original Sound Version/07_-_brinstar.mp3
Brinstar BGM (Original): http://dl1.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/dl/390/ce21a5/Metroid Original Soundtrack/03_-_brinstar.mp3

NOTE: From what I could discern from some of the E for All videos, it sounds similar to the Melee version.

Samus' Theme (Super Metroid): http://dl1.ffshrine.org/soundtracks...22_-_theme_of_samus_aran_galactic_warrior.mp3

Ending Theme (Super Metroid): http://dl1.ffshrine.org/soundtracks...und_In_Action/38_-_super_metroid_-_ending.mp3

NOTE: I also heard this in an E for All video, and I'm really excited. It sounds great! :bigthumbu

We've already heard the Yoshi's Story Ending Theme on the DOJO, but there's an off-chance that they may also be referring to the Yoshi's Island Ending Theme.

Ending Theme (Yoshi's Island): http://dl1.ffshrine.org/soundtracks...s_Island_Original_Sound_Version/26-ending.mp3
Athletic (Yoshi's Island): http://dl1.ffshrine.org/soundtracks..._Island_Original_Sound_Version/13-athelic.mp3

NOTE: The latter can be heard (barely) in an E for All video, and it's AMAZING. It even changes style to fit the changing climate of the stage; the winter "remix" is just wonderful.

Um, just thought that since no one else noticed it, the guy that posted the tingle, birdo, raiden ATs also posted this from jump festa. His kirby impression is very interesting though.

"WARIO IMPRESSIONS

I can't say much about Wario since I've only played as him once. I did notice, however, that his "classic" costume wasn't available in the demo. The DOJO!! update actually came as a surprise to me since I didn't expect costumes to be left out of the demo.

I immediately noticed that his animation has been fixed. His movement is no longer choppy, as seen in some of the older video footage. There are still some 'quirks' to certain animations, but they're definitely more manageable than the original frame (or lack thereof) issue. He's pretty slow and sluggish, but really powerful. He was enjoyable in the two minutes I spent playing as him. His standard special move is a "Bite"; with it, you can "eat" an opponent and spit them out by pressing the special move button again (reminds me of Yoshi's Egg Lay). What's most interesting is that I was able to "eat" projectiles... if you eat a projectile without pressing the special move button again, Wario will eventually absorb it and recover a bit of health. You can also press the special move button to spit the projectile back out at your opponent. Really versatile move. His up special move, which I don't know the name of, is some sort of spinny-cyclone jump attack. I've never played any of Wario's games, so I'm not sure what this is from, but it's fairly standard. Reminds me of a slower Mario Tornado... sort of.

KIRBY IMPRESSIONS

I didn't actually get the chance to use Kirby, as I don't much care for his games, but I've had the opportunity to watch other people use him.

He appeared to play the same as he did in Melee, but I noticed that he was able to swallow some of the items and gain abilities from them. The only item I got to see him suck up was the Fire Flower, which enabled Kirby to spit fire out (pretty identical to his Bowser hat in Melee). I was told that not all items can be swallowed for special abilities, though. "

@ Estrada.
The Wario impressions are interesting, but the Kirby impressions seem questionable.
Kirby gaining powers from some of the items would open a whole new realm of possibilities, though.

About Wario eating projectiles. I think we saw him do that in one of the videos.
It was one where Snake threw something at him. It was either "Snake joins the Brawl" or the Nintendo World trailer. Gotta go check...

^^ Really interesting stuff about Kirby! Sounds like they made him even more like his games.

And thanks for posting that. It elaborates on what Kokichi said about Wario. Good stuff. ;)

Wow, wow wow. I was hoping some of the Kirby classic abilities would return. Now we might actually get to see Ball Kirby (XD) from the Soccer Ball, Laser Kirby from the beam gun, perhaps Sword Kirby from the beam sword? Kirby seems like he may well have over 50 different B moves

no problem, just thought that since what else he said was put up (the ATs) i should put up what else he had. I personally hope that kirby thing is true though, would be awesome.

WeeklyJumpman, I know you were just translating but it's not Gazer Spiral. Gazer Spiral is the one where he shoots him body up by throwing the yo-yo down. It's called Break Spin
http://kirby.wikia.com/wiki/Yo-yo

And first post updated with the new information. Aeris, your links to the songs will come later.

Oh, my bad. I haven't played Kirby Super Star yet, so I guess that's why I made a slight blunder...

Thans a lot guys and Short Fuse...you may very well be on your way to mod status :)
Between this, advanced techniques, final/real wavedash disconfirmation, and the "Ness is back-Analyzing the Title Screen" threads I made, I'm hoping for Back Room access. I need the Japanese import thread to be a smashing success and I'll post my request.

I've been away, what have I missed?

PT was playable at JumpFesta?
No; he was only on a few videos of game footage.

And also, ShortFuse, someone on the Japanese Forum stated that Latias and Latios are like Scizor and Unown. And yes, they are together -- one comes out of a ball and calls the other one, then they zoom across the stage.

Yeah. I don't see the correlation. I just put what you wrote on the first post.

I see the Soccer Ball is from Super Mario Strikers. Well, I'm glad to see the good news for Kirby.

LOL, JUST IN TIME! We just finished going through everything on the sumabura-x thread.
Oh and we have our own team of translators. Spanda who?
Does that mean you are translating for us? Sounds terrific, we need all the translators we can get (Pandas are going extinct!)
