Since I got warned in the brawl + 4.1 beta topic I guess I'll ask here....

How do I upgrade from my current version of Brawl+ to the newest one without changing anything but Brawl+ itself? I have my own textures & the like that I already have on, and I don't want to lose them.

This is a hefty request, but...
I want a codeset that changes Ike in these ways:
I want his speed to be slightly lower than Marth
Weight is a bit heavier than Marth
His moves get less powerful, but less lag times*Don't make it cheap, I wanna just this*
His gravity the same as Marth's
No flame
I want the explosion animation.*If I got flame and explosion mixed up, just reverse it*

I'm using this to make a Squall Leonhart. If you feel something should change feel free.

I don't know exactly where this belongs, but I'll ask here. I unzipped the brawlplusery4.1full onto my SD card, and then ran homebrew channel and tried running Gecko, but it went to a black screen and never loaded Gecko.

I'm using Gecko 1.9.0.1
My wii version is 4.0u
I've reinstalled the homebrew channel.
Gecko 1.9.1 does the same thing. I tried previous versions of Gecko, all of which had "exception (DSI) occurred" errors.

Can anyone tell me what is wrong?

Is the texture-swaps codes included even in the PAL-set?

no it is not, but you can use codemanager to add it. (the texture tutorial has a link to the code manager if you don't have it)

EDIT:

and to your other question:
yes just rename to RSBP

Ah.

Well, I do have codemanager. I do however not possess the skills to edit with it :p. Is there any tutorial fo that or could you give me a quick guide? :)

Also; When creating the Private - Wii - app - RSBE - pf - fighter folder, should I rename the RSBE to RSBP since its PAL?

In vBrawl, if you use the C-Stick as attack, it inputs jumps if you hit in the opposite direction your character is facing. This is incredibly annoying, because if you set your C-Stick to Attack, you probably want to use it to attack, not to jump. Is there a code that fixes this? If not, could somebody make one?

my wii will not stop freezing online. even when I turn codes off. i used the default music codes in case it was that. it always freezes on the ready to brawl screen. this only happens on battlefield. no battlefield texture is active.

it is the music codes. use the my music reset codes. I posted them a couple pages back.

edit: sorry for double post.

Perhaps this has been covered in this thread, but 55 pages is a little daunting. If so, I apologize.

Is there any way I can pick and choose which parts of the Plusery 4.1 I want? Specifically, I'd like to have all the changes to the characters, but have all the stages remain unaltered.

Edit: Scratch that - I found the text file with the codes. It was slightly confusing that it wasn't on the nightly builds site.

Hey, I got Brawl+ yesterday on my PAL Wii.
I chose Samus to play. After a while, using Z-Air, Samus tripped. She tripped always when i jumped and touched the ground. How can I fix that? My opponent also began to trip.

Has tether recovery been "fixed" yet? Particularly Olimar's.

I mean, all 5 Pikmins are right next to him, but he only uses one of them and fails to grab the ledge. Fix this.

Also, it would be nice if tether recoveries were less gimpable.

There are less ZZs then Characters and the sentence: "Add 4 to the 05DB3xx to add line " also confuses me.

Thats the reason why I requested one here :(

I have no idea for the 2nd thing.

For the first thing, just keep adding the same line over and over for each extra character that you want.

Can anyone post a link to the .txt file (in the correct spacing, not all bunched together) for the new official Brawl+? The american one btw.

Hello:

I'm searching for a code that displays the User names in Reverse Order or Alphabetical Order.

Example: I was the first person to make a Name. I would like that name to always be on the top of the list instead of at the bottom.

I have the infinite replay code on but sometimes I am not given the option to save a replay longer than 3 minutes.

Anyone know how to fix this? My version is ntsc.

I've been trying to use the Agressive AT's and pokeballs code, but it never seems to work.

Makes all Assist Trophies and Pokeballs activate upon hitting the ground and attack anyone nearby.
That's the code I'm using - if there another code that has to be on/a code that can't be on? I'm running codes with Cheat Manager and Gecko OS 1.9.

Also, the texture hack code (2.1a) doesn't seem to work - I made sure all the folders were named right (in fact one wasn't, I fixed that but they still wont work). Can the only files in each character's folder be the texture files, or can I leave the .zip files in there too? The folder looks like this for me: "H:\private\wii\app\RSBE\pf\fighter"

My game keeps freezing after I press start on the results screen after a match. It's not consistent either, sometimes I can get a bunch of matches in, sometimes only a couple. But it's always on the results screen after I press start to go back to the character selection screen. So I'm using the latest version of Brawl+ and the music swap code.

What I did use UTD Zac's music swap code generator program and took that code and stuck it on the end of the code for Brawl +, then used codemgr.exe to rebuild a .gct and put that in the code folder of my SD Card. Gecko loads everything fine and the game plays, including the swapped music. Is there any reason why my game would freeze so often though at that point.

I've tried to fool around with it and there doesn't seem to be a song, stage, or character that makes it freeze, it's pretty inconsistent. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
