Two ways:

Easy way: Walk in a direction, then do a moonwalk like you would with Falcon.

Hard way: Do a near perfect waveland and during the frames where you still have momentum, but regain control of the character, do a moonwalk. Better results, much harder to do consistently.

i dunno y seems easier..unless you learend how to do all your **** with x or the control stick...its seriously which ever you are more comfortable with
