It was a short release, and the Tales games usually go out of print quite quickly. Tales of the Abyss and Tales of Symphonia are both quite hard to find now, but neither of them had collector's editions.... Vesperia was the first one to get a collector's in North America.

Hah, glad you liked it, thanks.

Oh, and I bought a copy of Trials and Tribulations off Ebay for $30 today, so I'll soon enjoy the awesomeness that is Godot.

See you tomorrow night at the biweekly!

Double post because I can.

Jordan, have you uploaded any more matches from the biweekly yet? I want to see a replay of my wacky tech on Yoshi's Island.

I havnt' played all the tales games, but the ones i did play were fun to battle...but that's about it. the character acting is terrible. It makes the game unbearable(for me). The same thing happened with Star Ocean on Ps2!! x.x

That Heaven stuff is deep. Cool :3 Seems like the other guy is a bad debater!

Any word on regional tourney?

Does anybody play PSO(phantasy star online)

Depends on which Tales game. Some characters are pretty annoying, like Collette (ToS), but a lot are pretty awesome.

Dunno about the regional, venue is still the problem.

As for PSO, I used to play it religiously.

Oh, and Katie, I'll have it up soon. Also, case 4 in Apollo Justice was OMGWTFEPIX.

No pressure, brah. Just curious.

Gawd, I'm trying to play Apollo Justice right now, and the second case is really boring. I think this game definitely has the worst pacing in the series. But I will make it through.

It's actually up now.

And I agree completely. The second case is really slow, especially at the start. If you can make it through, the third case is excellent, and the 4th will blow your mind.

Wow, I'm really out of practice. And where are all these new Zelda mains coming from?

Yeah, I'll have to finish it. General consensus is that the third and fourth cases are pretty good, so I will finish it, but man, this second case is slow.

They're just bandwagoning now that she's officially terrible, not just regular terrible. It's like how everyone thinks they're so cool playing Ganon or Falcon.

umm... no he doesn't.
he said people are picking up zelda for the same reason people play ganon and falcon, which is not an accurate comparison.
besides the only person to pick up zelda was kyle who is known for maining random at side tourneys. the other zelda main (jesse i think?) has been using her for at least longer than before the most recent tier list.

i agree zelda isn't fun, but i also think marth isn't fun. to each their own?

My point is, the tier list affects peoples perceptions of characters. Traditionally speaking, people played Ganon and Falcon BECAUSE they were bottom tier, and they were fun. Because Zelda is bottom tier, NOT fun, and people are playing her now, we can conclude that the part that matters is that they're bottom tier, not that they're fun.

I know for sure that a lot of people have played these characters (Including myself) so that they can say, "Haha, got whooped by Captain Bottom Tier"

Leave the rule-set to me. xD (Note: I won't do anything crazy for a regional.)

I imagine it'll be somewhat difficult to find a venue that's large enough. :ohwell:
Depends how large we are expecting for a turn-out

We should probably see if Newfoundland, New Brunswick and PEI smashers are even AVAILABLE for a tournament in the summer time. If we don't get a massive amount of out of province players coming, we might as well stick with the Roy building and run our usual tournaments.

I clicked that link to the application just to have a glance, but I ended up reading the whole thing, it was quite well put together. Best of luck.

That application was very impressive, Jordan. Let's hope for the best. Also, I love how Katie has the tourney director title, and the local TOs don't. XD
