Nominate who you think will be the best Snake board mod!

Susa's seat has been open long enough, and time problems on my end have made finding a Snake board mod harder than you'd imagine. So I think it'd be best to be democratic about this. To those of you who are active around here, who do you think is the best replacement for Susa? He was a hard worker and a great mod, so it won't be easy to fill his shoes. Choose wisely!

Also, to lay out some ground rules, if you're not an active Snake board member, then DO NOT post (I'm relying on you other members to call them out). And you cannot nominate yourself, either.


Please do note that while I'll make my personal nomination on the Staff board based off of what you guys say, the final decisions on whether or not they get to become a moderator is not up to me, unfortunately. I'm hoping that one or two people will end up with the most nominations, so the decision will be rather straightforward.

Ummm i vote Yume, he seems to always lurk on these boards, and has a good snake. Underload maybe since he seems to contribute alot. Well also...ahh so many candidates

I'm taking his word for it. Since he's been gone for just under forever, I don't think he should still be up for consideration. Just my 2 cents.

not regulars, at least by my standards. Bizkit isn't necessarily a regular, but when he does contribute he says some good **** and he's a fantastic well known snake so his vote should count (imo) its up to you tho SP and the other members I guess.

Yeah, Albert, Meglaodon, and iFudge aren't regulars at all. I haven't caught wind of them in here ever. It's no offense to them, but it's just the people that vote should know more than the character (in this case, Snake), but the community that makes up these boards. As for Bizkit, he's a disgustingly good player, but not terribly active. He posts rarely, but when he does it makes an impact. I think his vote should count, though, he wouldn't make a choice without reason.

Anyway, knowing the community and making an informed decision through that knowledge is one of the main points we've driven home in this AIM chat we're having right now. We made our own list, we started off with six names and now it's down to three. We might collectively submit those names for consideration from the staff once we get input from more players, most of us find that method to be more clean and effective than just opening a thread to voting.

I would have immediately said Ran Iji, but apparently he's out.

I'm not completely sure on who I think is the best choice. Infern, Underload or Nappy would probably be one of my choices.

what we came down to in an aim chat that had most of the regulars was UL, myself, and infern. Yink thought the same too, lolz. Staff should still make the choice, but we made it easier for you guys by narrowing it down.

Let me just make one thing easier: Infern is out. He is on the verge of being banned from spamming on other boards. Even if I thought he'd be a good Snake mod, there is a 0% chance of the higher powers agreeing with that. And he has noone to blame but himself. Way to go, Infern :/

So I guess the list is down to Underload and Nappy then.

I nominate Syx, Twentytwo, and yume. I nominate Syx and Twentytwo because back before the social thread was created, 6 and 22 helped me a lot with advice concerning ATs, match ups, and technical info (such as frame data). Though we tend to see a new generation of posters now, they've still been a great help and proven to be knowledgeable. I also nominate Yume cause he's quite knowledgeable too and his Snake is legit. I play his snake almost every friday. He posts often, is amiable, as you can see by his cult followers :) , and attends plenty of tourneys to know how Snake matches up competitively. I'd also nominate Fatal if he posted more often :/

Decision made. I went through all those nominated and some who were not that I felt may have potential.

Unfortunately, we are currently undergoing a problem with adding new moderators at the moment, so it may take a little while until a moderator is added.
