I don't know the exact height Joker (or Jack) is supposed to have, but maybe he has that height cuz he may be in some kind of battle pose that shrinks his height when idle.
Though maybe it might still be too tiny for all I know and it might actually be chibi Joker.
In any case, I still will believe and pray Brave is Ninten.

I think he's supposedly shorter then the FE characters and regular Link but that might change tonight. If it doesn't I'm probably gonna keep my trash chibi theory even if it's like a 0.01% chance of happening lulz.

I also really think he's Brave as well. Ninten's got more going for him than just stats and insider rumors so that's honestly a huge plus for us.

I do wonder if all the changes that 2.0.0 brings will be up front and present from the get go. Or, if they'll be gradually unlocked over a duration of time or waiting to be annouced in something like a direct before being unlocked to the public.

I'm thinking that the update will just give us what it brings right away, and that what the update brings will be explained in a Smash direct. Since we haven't gotten a regular Nintendo Direct in January yet, I think we will get a Smash Direct tbh.

If he is revealed I imagine his CG movie something like this: A postman (not really shown,we just see his hand) knocks on the door on Ninten's house,we see his iconic blue shoes with red socks hurriedly rushing down the stairs,he opens the door finally revealing he is indeed Ninten. He receives the letter and a speech balloon with a picture of a smiling Ana pops up on his head,thinking the letter is hers. We see the smash logo on the envelope,he reads it and jumps in happiness. He waves goodbye to his family and starts running like PK Teleport. While running his splash art comes up,he finally teleports and arrives on (New Mother Stage) and gameplay footage is shown.

I really like this trailer idea. I could also see a potential Ninten trailer having to do with him fighting someone, like Ganondorf, and teleporting all over the place to confuse Ganon, lol

Maybe instead of teleporting, he could use 4th D Slip or maybe use the Onyx hook as a Magicant reference? Honestly this is adorable here. I love it.

Reason I find it wierd is that they've always done it that way. Not only that, but if it's there, shouldn't people know what they need to about them? Unless it's something that Nintendo wants as some big surprise or potentially an expansion to an already existing mode, then actually announcing said modes after they're already available seems pointless unless they have more in store for them.

Not saying it's impossible, but it's confusing if all the contents really are big and new without an announcement.

Nope. During that time, it was in the middle of the era in which Bamco managed to do what Sonic Team tried to and basically scrubbed out nearly the entire supporting cast of Pac-Man.

Well, the analogy kinda falls short since no one really expects Mystery Creature or Pac-Man's house to get reused (especially that first one, the less of Other M, the better).

In any case, it's most likely an oversight. I hardly expect them to put in two Mother characters when it's hard to afford much newcomers from that series.

Yes. You guys only expect Ninten, the Porky fans only expect Porky. So it all comes down to either of the two.

Yeah, you can tell that they basically just did whatever. There's a whole bunch of oversights they did, like completely missing a few Kirby characters, having no one from Pro Wrestling (even though other sports game characters are in), no Professor Hector (yet still representing the Gyromite and Stack-Up accessories themselves), and other things like that. This could help the "spirits don't deconfirm" argument simply because the spirit team doesn't seem to be very good at making sure people don't suspect anything.

I think all of them do actually...

With how many Pokémon there are, it's no surprise they couldn't remember at least one...

That and the "missing" spirit and he didn't appear as a boss, I took Porky as a lock but then I dropped it because you guys made me realize Ninten actually might have a chance. And I vastly prefer Ninten over Porky.

Some games still didn't get their memories anyway (most tellingly the first Kid Icarus), so that theory would eventually have had holes in it, since the website is inconsistent about those posts.

I will say, it's a good thing the Mother series didn't suffer on the site similarly to the complete mess of a post Mr. G&W got, due to the whole Fire sprite incident. Poor guy didn't get a Memories post at all.

His party members Lloyd, Ana and Teddy for sure, but I'd also like to see alts of Pippi, a Starman, and his famicom sprite. Other than those picks, I'd like to see what sakurai would give him as smash original alts.

I like these alt ideas. I think EVE, R7037, R7038, R7038XX, and Gieugue are cool ideas for Ninten alts as well.

Maybe some alts for characters from Earthbound and Mother 3, like Dungeon Man, Flint, and Kumarora. Mother 1 should be the priority for alts, though.
