I disagree. Not only that, but you contradicted yourself by saying we need to understand Brawl is no where near Melee, yet then you compared Brawl stages to Melee stages.

However, like I said I believe the defintion of neutral stage is still very much the same. For comparison:

Battlefield is much like the old Final Destination. It has the least amount of hazards and is the most basic playing field possible with no hazards. The only difference is platforms.

Smashville is much like the old FoD. You even pointed it out yourself. Both of these stages have moving platforms. You might say, "but FoD platforms effected gameplay hardly at all!" Apparently they effected it enough for G-Reg to say it screws Falcon's game up, not only that, but are you going to honestly tell me that the platform on Smashville impacts play beyond anything minor?

Yoshi's Island is much like... well Yoshi's Island. The cloud has been replaced with a ghost and three platforms have turned into one. Nothing different, hardly.

Lylat Cruise is much like the old Battlefield. Other than a slightly curved shape and lower platforms, the only problem with the stage is its incredible ability to gimp the **** out of you, much like Battlefield in Melee did. However, this is even LESS of a problem due to auto sweet spotting.

And... well, let's face it, the new Pokemon Stadium 1 just sucks.

Hmmm...I don't believe I contradicted myself. Context Davis, context. And I'm getting really sick and tired of people telling me to stop comparing Brawl to Melee. Why the devil not? Melee laid the groundwork for us, so why not use it? The definition of a neutral stage is basically the same, yes, but the stages in Brawl are all way different than in Melee, so we must adapt and change the way neutral is viewed. That does NOT mean change it drastically and make stages like Orpheon neutral, but we have to make do with what we have.

Hey how many times can you do something before it is considered an infinite? All of the techniques have soft bans, you can't fully ban one, you have put a limit, with falcos, I'd say 4 lasers. D3 wall, 2 3 grabs, etc...
