So I had one genius idea (so much that I think I am dumb to not have done it in the first place) and used an angry artwork.

You do see his eyes and a good part of the hat which for me is like a much better compromise.

btw the artwork was in MUCH better quality, like it was scary big so, even less quality loss during scaling

Yeah, Capcom has two reps in already, but they also have some of the most iconic female characters out there. Not just from Street Fighter, either.

So since there's not a lot to talk about, I found a few lesser talked about (at least, some are) characters that could bring up some discussion:

Aeron from Pandora's Tower (also known as one of the few games from Operation Rainfall). He had a trophy in Smash Wii U. I heard the game was pretty good.



The Elite Beat Agents from the ever so popular Osu games. This could potentially be the bridge between Japanese and American culture.



Doshin the Giant. Seriously I have no idea what this is but I want it.


Donbe from Shin Onigashima. Which could be the potential oddball rep.


One of these characters (Hiro on the right, Satoru on the left) from Card Hero: a Japanese only game that got two games and the former getting a GBC release.


Hakkun from Sukke Hakkun. Didn't really go anywhere but is a neat concept for a puzzle game nonetheless.

At least something different from the usual topics.

I JUST brought up the Elite beat agents the other day. I'm really dissapointed they never got a sequel. They had a few stickers an a trophy at least. . .

From what I've heard (Ted from BrainScratch), it's not that well received...since it like changed a lot of things prime from the original formula of the series prior. It was turned more into a tradictional "Mario platformer" with less RPG elements or so, and that made it not as good as the others.

But that's just from what I heard, It might be better off than that.

The thing with Sticker Star is that people try to compare it to previous Paper Mario games. While not necessarily a bad thing, I would play the game as is and not whine because durr no partners, Kersti's annoying, story's boring, sticker gimmicks etc.

Just my 2 cents. It can't be Sonic Boom levels of bad.

I expected a decent RPG that just lacks story. So I tried to judge it based on its own merits, but it was worse than that.

Battles were ultimately pointless, you get no real reward other than some coins and stickers (which are literally everywhere outside of battles anyways), no exp, no leveling up. Really pointless, you can just skip straight to the boss by dodging every avoidable enemy and the results won't be any different.

And the levels weren't really exciting, some of them are just really boring. The fish raft level is awful and I hate the Wriggler segments so much.

Yeah except they decided to cut all of the good stuff during the middle of the game's development because Miyamoto suggested to not be really creative for some god awful reason. People have the right to "whine" on a product that practically removed a lot of things people loved about the games. Especially when previews had some stuff that looked interesting that didn't make it to the final product.

But even then the game still turned out to be a mess even if it wasn't a Paper Mario game.

No one is saying it's Sonic Boom levels of bad. It's just a mediocre (and arguably bad) game and a terrible Paper Mario game. And we probably won't be seeing another Paper Mario game in a long time from now knowing how they release these games. (I don't count Paper Jam, that's more of a M&L game with Paper Mario)

Yeah, I appreciate Super Paper Mario for at least trying and being actually memorable. I didn't like the game though since I felt half of it was just not fun and really tedious. But I appreciate the effort and creativity that was put into it. And Count Bleck was awesome.

Can't say the same to Sticker Star. Really felt like the only thing really going for it was the music.

I find the execution on the game (gameplay) a bit poor. I really liked its idea though.

Unpopular Opinion but I love Super Paper Mario. Story and Gameplay wise.

I actually like it more than TTYD
