What's so bad about this?
Well, for starters, Zelda already got stage DLC and Pirate Ship would likely be wonky on the 3DS thanks to no swimming.
It's not too unbelievable on its own, I just don't expect any series to get two DLC stages, in addition to the fact that we already have a past Zelda stage from each past Smash game (Hyrule Castle, Temple, and Bridge of Eldin). The only situation in which I could see it coming back is if Tetra is added as a newcomer, but that's even more unlikely.
I can't be the only one who sees a problem here.

Agent 3...is an Inkling though.
I really don't pay attention to Splatoon as much so I thought he was some sort of like NPC. Even then, the Inklings are main characters of the series and them not getting in first is like King Hippo getting in Smash before Little Mac
Agent 3 is the Inkling. It's the name your character is called in the single-player campaign. "Inkling" and "Agent 3" are literally just different names for the same character.
