"Playing" games you don't actually own and having them run like crap or AKA why PS4 is trash for anything backwards compatibility.

First of all, splendid choice of anime, second, I think that says enough about your sexuality. Finally, no one knows if that's a transwoman, crossdresser or what, so I don't know how to address this character

I'm sure he's just a cross dresser.

It wouldn't really make sense if he was transgender. The point of his character is that others would not accept him as male because he was not stereotypically masculine so that's why he cross dresses to avoid further bullying.

Actually more expensive. You don't own them, you only get like a certain amount of time to play them like $20 to play a game for about 10 hours or more

Nintendo and MS both badly botched their launches.

You need PS Plus to play online. That also get's you free games. Haven't heard much about older games.
They do have an absurd amount of remasters though.

The PS4 got off to a good start by not having all of the XBone's problems. Constant DRM and Mandatory Kinect ramping up the price. WiiU's marketing was flawed too.

Marketing and the competition lacking in general. It's pretty much the 8th gen equivalent of the 360. Better running multiplats and bigger install base but the library is lacking

Is PSN actually good?

It's better than PS3's PSN but not much. The only reason it's better than XBLA is the UI and how MS tried to make everything like Windows 8.

Any plans to release older titles there?

Considering Final Fantasy 7(the original) is the getting the Steam PC port, probably not for a while

Ditching the cell was a good and bad thing. Good thing because they are finally rid of terrible architecture that made PS3 hell to develop for, bad thing because it kills BC.

this was announced very stealthily when they've mocked Xbox One's (back then) DRM practices at E3 2013

At this point I'm tempted to stop buying games until the NX launches. Assuming it'll have backwards compatibility I'll be able to pick up all the games that looked interesting for Wii U at a cheaper price and be able to save up money to buy the NX in the meantime. So far this generation of consoles feels super lacklustre.

Given, this would be my first visual novel and I'm still learning the tools to make said game. Considering it's also a collab with the other officers of the Video Game Club I help run at my university and we'll be showcasing it on "Visual Novel Night" around Valentine's, I won't be finishing any time soon... But "Smashboards Dating Sim" will remain in the back of my mind.

That's what mostly mine is. It's a PSP/PS1 machine. I aslo hate how there isn't any PS2 games on there yet. Especially considering it's more powerful than a PS2 (which isn't hard to be)
